Page 26 and onwards I will issue at least two day bans to anyone who clearly has not read the original topic post and the explanations contained therein. He was barred access to the event days before the actual event took place and used some random diamond player his account to try and get in anyway.
Leave the racial bias at the door while you are at it as well pretty please. |

The fact that this total non-issue has spawned a thread 63 pages long really makes me sad. I simply cannot be convinced that this is even a tiny issue. What do people want? A public apology? Major to be removed from sixjax? This isn't a scandal, nothing even remotely egregious happened. It's a small time up-and-comer being an ass in an inconsequential tournament. I don't condone his actions, but Jesus, let things take their course. People have been made aware of the situation. Stop harping on it.
Maybe this would be a Non-issue if it was any other player but because Major has a long track record of this sort of stuff. It really is an issue. He is not an "Up and Coming" player..He has been around since BW. Where he did the same kind of thing and is still continues to do it.
Him being an ass is an understatement, After being caught he then proceeded to come in here and lie about it. He is a Cheater and a Liar.

For those saying that SEA is an insignificant scene and it will not affect Terran in a big way, remember that FXO will have its own huge tourney in Malaysia soon. And pretty sure a lot of FXO members are important figures in the SEA community. They also have the KOTH in which Major regularly participates in.
Just saying this might end up sad and funny if Major is barred from these events ( and knowing FXO, these events will be big and lucrative)

Major is probably reading all this and giggling (while surfing trying to find a SEA tournament, just to say "hello").

The good folk of TL do have a say in how tournaments are run. As proof of this, and I've heard this bouncing around today, is that the Gview Thailand Tournament is rescinding majOr's invite. (Not that he'd actually win that, seeing that there are a whole bunch of baller nerds attending, including SEA hero mOOnGlaDe and the hero of every terran heart marineking.prime.)
I am glad that the TL community has risen past indifference to help create a better environment for e-sports. I don't speak for everyone, but thank you.

WHAT a fucken disgrace.... Major is clearly a liability. If I were managing sixjax.... he'd be gone..
to not say sorry was his biggest mistake.
What a noob. hahaha career is over.

What does that have to do with princess?

That's a little harsh, and I doubt his career is over after something so miniscule as this. MajOr is known for pulling stunts like this, and he will still have a fan base, simply because he is so good at the game.

This was brought up when the player playing was a high level Terran player and Jaime Arturo 'SkyJimRiSiNg' Duran Silencio is only a Master Zerg player. Due to all the combination of the evidence against him Jaime Arturo 'SkyJimRiSiNg' Duran Silencio receives six penalty points according to the rules of the Electronic Sports League.
Of course I am not for certain since I haven't seen the replays myself, but could very well be major considering both of the players would be from mexico.

For anybody saying this wasn't important because it was a small tourney. This was a $500 prize pool, with 1st prize $350. Of course that's not as much as MLG or Dreamhack or GSL, but still. If he had won, he'd be taking that $350 without having any right to it. He was basically trying to fraud someone into giving him $350. That doesn't seem that petty to me.

Even if there was no prize pool, it would be a big deal. Cheating always is, especially when it's a pro.

He shouldn't of played in the tourney. That was pretty wrong of him, regardless of what was/wasn't clear.

Pretty distasteful overall. The actual act is really asshatish and imo worse than any so call BM that people dislike some players for. A saving grace is I don't think he treatment of admins is particularally worse than several other players. More than a few players I remember as being a little abusive of tourney refs. Hope this shames him into growing up a lil. He better play out of his mind to pull me back into the fold.

This. It's like every member of TL is a white knight, who wants absurdly hyperbolic punishment for slight form of bad behaviour. This just shows how stupid some people are. This thread really gone too far, way too far.

The fact that it has a prize pool makes it a much bigger deal. Its essentially acts like these that stunt the growth of e-sports. I doubt many of us would be playing sc2 as much if there wasn't any MLG, NASL, GSL, Dreamhack, WCG, etc.

So, cheating is a "slight form of bad behavior"?
