I live in Santa Monica, right next to the freeway closure, and I can tell you that the traffic in the LA area is about as sedate as it has ever been. Everyone's staying home this weekend. It's awesome. I've never had a drive home from work like I did last night, and the Santa Monica parking structures, which are usually full to the brim on weekends, were at most half full today.
If I'm feeling social, I may try to say hello to these guys tomorrow afternoon. Glad you're getting a chance to see the city!

Phew. Thank you for the live report. You have no idea how scared I am if this was a terrible mistake. The last thing I want is for the pros to have a bad time in SoCal!
Sen, Gretorp, and White-Ra would love to meet their fans, so wave hi and take pictures!

White-ra and sen sure, but gretorp?

If anything the traffic will be better than normal for you guys.

Yeah, fuck that guy man. He`s only a proffesional player who also has casted through the entire NASL season one and has contributed to the community in various ways, for instance this entire event. So yeah, fuck Gretorp.
//Sarcasm, Gretorp is awesome for doing this and if you don`t think so, try expressing that in another thread and in a not so insulting way.

Sounds like an americanized version of homestory cup.. without the Starcraft tournament

Gretorp is a pro? Why is he in the same sentence as Sen (top 5) and white-ra (top 50). He's like what, number 350?

and when was the last time he placed semi decent at any event? No offense to gretrop but being highly ranked on na gm doesnt put you on teh same level as sen or white ra..

The amount of negativity in these kinds of threads are really starting to get to me. Sigh.

NASL is the most amazing thing that ever happened to NA e-sports wise. I'm so happy I could be part of this awesomeness! I still can't believe both my heros Boxer and Whitera were there and are still there !!!

This is pretty stupid I feel like, especially when TL Attack is on to watch... I mean, I understand releasing behind the scenes footage, but all this hype and build up. Are we actually going to be able to hear you guys talking? Will the camera be quasi-steady?
I just have no faith in the streaming capabilities of the NASL brand, which in turns makes me very weary about the quality of any future streaming they do.
I know everyone loves White-Ra, but instead of watching him on the historically sub-par NASL stream, why not watch his personal (not laggy) stream? It directly supports Mr. Ra, instead of NASL. NASL has a way of not putting money into their streams and production value (which is what increases viewer retention rates, and satisfaction) so why continue to stuff their bloated pockets? Even if it is just ad revenue, its money I feel they haven't earned.
Yeah, in contrary to the NASL crew, you've really gone the extra mile by sitting behind your computer. Especially the complaining about having to sit behind your computer watching the free content provided by volunteers is helpful, you know, because of your wealth of knowledge concerning the runnings of100.000$ international SC2 events.
It isn't even an official NASL event, they clearly state not to expect wonders since it's a voluntary production.
