Think of it from MLG's pov - its a brand new product that they were already having issues with. The SC2 cast before it was laced with swear words from TLO/MrBitter/Ret which is huge nono and probably already left them uncomfortable. On top of that there are sponsors watching - MLG are promoting it a lot and when you have a loose cannon who has a history of shitting on you (teasing or not - sponsors dont care about that) it looks incredibly bad. I'm not surprised they yanked 2GD - i'm more surprised Slasher convinced everyone to give him shot (after dreamhack). Whats he going to do next - say that Astro is a shit brand and that he only uses Razer headsets? The trust is gone at that point.
I think 2GD is really entertaining, and his BM is pretty funny - but don't pull your bitch-forks out when it bites him in the ass.
If they're going to be so butthurt about nothing then they should've done their freaking jobs and made shit like that clear to their casters beforehand, like a professional organization. You can't expect professionalism when you don't put any in yourself.
If you have to be told not to talk shit about your employer you have issues.
If your employer is so amateurish that they can't get their shit together enough to even provide a foolproof contract and NDA, you have issues. Also, 2GD was not employed by MLG, and he didn't talk shit.
When you're allowed to guest commentate it's still them giving you the opportunity to cast. It's his fault for acting that way, if you need a contract shoved in your face to know not to make jokes about the company you're commentating for you'll have a hard time sticking around.
MLG could have waited and handled things better, but ultimately protecting your brand is more important than giving a caster a long leash.
2GD has been around for a long, long time. You're wrong. The only one to blame here for not being professional is MLG. 2GD did his 'job' as usual.
No, I'm obviously not since he screwed up with MLG already. It's not like he's artosis/tasteless or day9.
Hmm people talking about 2GD representing MLG.. like how? If he was representing in any way they would have known from the start who they were dealing with. It's in his blood to troll around. A simple background check by the "higher ups" @ MLG and a 20 seconds conversation with 2GD about topics not to joke about would have been enough to avoid this awkward situation.
2GD was dissing his co-commentator @ esl for years .
This really is pretty good. Not as intense as quake, but so much simpler to watch, and these commentators are amaaaazzziing. COD was pretty dull, but I've been pretty impressed with H:R as a first time viewer.

A god squad of lunchbox roy Pistola and Ogre 2 Are entierly dominate though. It was probably just a fluke I think that the old squads are gona dominate again.

I believe it's because he's @ Nazgul's place in Holland atm . Or; We stole TLO hah! HasuObs is next, and then some more!
yeah, you can have TLO, i'm ok with this. maybe then he'll get a dutch accent when talking english (similar to rotterdam), then i'd surely like his casting way more. but Hasu and Socke stay gotta german! :D

It had traits of a game that helped the competitiveness of the game, such as grenade bouncing, double melee bug, backpack reload bug, less autoaim, and frankly, having the three shot kill on the pistol made it so that even if you spawn on top of a guy with sniper / rocket, you can skill out skill him. Just not a possibility beyond a fluke in any of the Halo games since then. And MechKing I have to disagree, I though Halo: 2 was the worst for being newbie. But that may be why I was also the best at that one
I thought it was good for pro play because the BR was so good. No bullet spread on it was amazing :D I might be a little nostalgic though, since I pulled many all nighters with friends playing Halo 2 the whole time xD
Did you ever have the chance to play Halo CE? If you love the BR I would imagine you would love the pistol. Same scope similar fire rate (slightly faster ?) and three shots to kill instead of the four shot. The only thing I think is neat about the BR over the pistol is the fact that you needed to land all three of your bullets in each of your four bursts to get the four shot kill; that's a neat concept.
I often wonder if Halo: CE had online play if it would still be played (the most competitive imo, which I think is pretty hard to disagree with) or it would be as it is now due to updated graphics.
Finally, I never got into Quake much but it seems really cool. It's too bad its popularity is on the decline

Screwed up what?! His charity work for a showmatch in a game that MLG doesn't actually feature? Do you even know what you're posting about anymore? Because it seems like you have lost track completely.

In order to keep the stream 100% professional, MLG has decided not to tell anyone what they are showing when.

He's bigger then artosis/tasteless and Day[9] to the quake crowd. He did MLG a favor coming on, they posted his name in their newsposts before they talked to him. Apparently it was a really amateurish setup, no soundcheck and stuff. 2GD was basically contacted and then was commenting five minutes later.
In that situation, 2GD can not be expected to change his style of commentating and he probably though that MLG would want him to be himself, since, well, they did get him?

He was a guest of MLG so he could cast quake for them you don't just get invited onto someones show and then first day start shitting on it. If husky when he casted TSL was drunk or droned on and on about balance and how zerg really needs buffs the same thing would have happened.
