Hi I've been looking around and looking for some decent speakers. I listen to all sorts of music but I probably listen to hip-hop the most. My budget is around $150-250.
So far with some googling I've been able to come up with two choices.
Audioengine A2: http://audioengineusa.com/Store/Audioengine-2 M-Audio Studiophile AV40: http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/MAudioAV40.html
The only difference so far is that the AV40 are cheaper (on Amazon) and that the Audioengine is smaller in size (much more portable). But I hear equal things between these two.
Of course you guys can recommend me more speakers and I'll make a decision by the end of the day today.
Thanks a lot!

The AV40 is very sensitive. It sounds great but on most ones there's a very noticeable hum... i heard it's because of the design. It's kinda sucky for movies/games. The hum started to bother me so now they're my speakers for my home gym.
I also have the Klipsch 2.1's... bass is better than the AV40 but it doesn't sound as good for music. I think it's good for movies/games though.
I've switched to headphones+amp on my computer for music, though. Occasionally I'll use the speakers but not really.
