I am absolutely serious, how in fuck's name as Terran do you beat this. Basically:

Zerg goes Muta harras, you cannot stop this in anyway unless you go 1 Barracks M&M drop, which of course almost never happens.

Zerg keeps Muta harrasing you, so you cannot leave your base. Meanwhile Zerg expands the map and techs to Guardian. You cannot stop the tech because you are being Muta harrassed.

You finally have enough defense to move out and attack. By this time your opponent has 24 Gaurdians, GG.

What do you do to stop this?

your gonna have to keep up a good scan. if you see a hive going down early with no hydra den that usually means ur gonna get gaurds coming soon so you can either pump out the sci vessels or wraith as well. To stop muta harass just move out of ur base leave some marines and medics in your base to make him run. Usually when he see his base is getting owned he'll pull the muta back to try and stop this attack. While this is happening do a multi attack with dropship full of marines + medic to destroy the expos. Keep a good unit production and you should be fine. Scouting is critical

my guess is, you probably got your army killed by mutas when you try to fast push and than are behind for the rest of the game. In that case, you are probably dead, not because guardians are impossible to stop but because your army died. I assume this because a giant Marine medic firebat army would own mutalisks unless you have really bad micro. From not making a bunch of tanks you should have lots of gas for vessels as well so I don't know what you are doing wrong.. maybe scourge are killing your vessel?

Build a couple 2-3 turrets and a bunker near your minerals, and those mutas are worthless. If you move out and he starts attacking your barracks or something, let him go. You should be able to push him and either a) hes stupid enough not to run back, or b) he runs back, but you should take it all right. Now, assuming you lost quite a lot of units early on to some reason, you have to keep your scout up. TvZ is all about knowing what to build, 5 rax? 3 facts? 2 port? it depends all on what the zerg player is going, and in this case, you need 2 ports, and FAST.

hehe,nah im just havin a lonely night tonight,i sold my computer to my aunt last week but shes gonna let me use it until wcg time,so i can practice.i'll be gaming again [in] september,stalk me sometime :-)

after wcg i wont have a comp so thats it for me and the internet,i'll be finishing high school and looking for a job on a cruiseline

to not talk about techs that is well known that irradiate and marines is the common tech, ill go straight to how to kill em, IMO its crucial to wait and wait even if he is hitting your buildings or anything else, just dont go rampant to kill them cuz u will be raped, hold hold hold, and when they go in to an open space attack, just attack in an open area, just dont lose patience, wait for an oportunity.
