when u see him tech to muta get your 3rd rax asap. like 1 bunk + turrets at cc for when he brings them in again. also put 1 by your rax and fact if you have teched to fact yet. dont let 5-6 mutas keep u from leaving home. dont forget mm ups. if u see him massing on muta expand. get irrad and a few valks. that + your 3-4 rax producing should be able to stop gaurds.

Go 4 vulture + mine drop and put spiders next to his main hatch larvae/eggs while going 3 rax in main..do much damage with vults while massing m&m army in you main. fun~~

look man when the zerg muta harass you if you did an early push yes maybe you will have to come back at your MAIN but NOT TILL HE GET ALL THE MAP. Ifyou see that hes stick on mutas (number of harrassing flying shits constantly increasing) then build additionnal barracks and split your infantry on a ratio like 1/4 or 1/5 for defending your base and the rest for atacking or taking expos. If you dont see much mutas coming while hes harrassing that means he took 2 expos at opposite spots (like 90% of zergs does in this matchup) and hes switching to hydra/lurks double evo upgrades...

Maybe the problem is that when your getting harassed you're paying to much atention to mutas and your not producing enough rines.If it is that, only practice will resolve the problem. And BTW go at replays.net and get some TvZ reps and you'll quickly see how terrans are ass-raping zerg even with the muta harrass..

I have a friend that is always asking me stupid questions like: "If a guy drops on my ledge pvt what do i do?!!!" "If he rushes me what do i do?!" "If he picks terran and im terran. what do i do?!!" hes been playing since before the game came out in stores and he still has problems with playing the game.

But let me tell u why he has this problem. He wastes most of his time observing my games, when he should be playing instead of observing.

I suggest, if u dont want to end up like him Start playing more games and you will deifinitely get the hang of it. I can bet you that in a month or two if you play atleast 5-10 games a day you will be atleast 1-2x's better than you are now.

Plz, this game exists since ages, any decent player with an early-guardian build expects cloaked wraiths and gets scourges+ ol speed
Oh well, lots of answers assumed that he would know the opponents strat from the beginning. so lets say you went standard 2rax, didnt lose any units but forced him to build a few sunkens ( usually 4 when going 2hatch muta ). now when you scan an early hive, immediately secure your expansion vs muta, expand earlier than usually and go for 3rax m&m with good ups( 2 bay)+ vessels. you may wanna build a few more turrets than usual so that you are able to move out with most of your m&ms and keep him from expanding. the best moment imo is when your second vessel finished, so you can take one with your troops and have one in your base, one irradiate can win the game if you get him in a good moment. once you killed his initial (usual) guardian/ling force, expand once more and get 2fac tanks since he will most probably switch to ultras and keep an eye on the islands...

"Any decent player" do not guardian rush. If terran sees too many mutas and keeps scaning looking for early hive HE KNOWS guards are comming, so it's too easy to keep a vessel and 2/3 valks + 2/3wraith + rines wich rape all air units a zerg can bring to battle, cloaked wraiths isn't even necesary, guards are soooo easy to counter. Guards rush it's simply not viable. (get 2 starports and single bay, if the zerg scout the terran counter and decide to switch to hydra/lurker go mass vessels)

3 rax m&m's with Sv's if u scouted well enough iu shoudl know he is going guards and just get Sv's~~~. About the harass well get a bunker a few extra turrets and go attack b/c if u dont map will be gone*_*i say Sv's are the best counter for guards.2 port Sv's is sexy too;)
