After seeing your play vs Mirhi in ITL 3, I can get over my initial annoyance at what came off as complaining and say you are good enough to be in this, but it's still HD and Husky's decision.

thanks everyone! I also think huk is a very strong player...

We are just waiting on confirmation from the last few players. More invites will be going out if they do not reply within a day or so.
On a side note, Jinro has been added.

Updating to let people know Lumi pulled out of the tournament.
To begin with, let me thank the sponsor of this tournament for supporting the community with such a great prize pool, giving us the opportunity to pool together some of our best to bring GGs to all.
After having rolled this around in my head for a few days, I am, however, deciding to pull myself from this tournament to make room for another player. The issue is that I don't see myself aspiring to be a top SC2 player long-term and I never have, and I know that there are so many others out there looking to make a future out of playing our game at the highest level. With respect to this opportunity, my fellow players and the community following this event, I am going to drop from the event to make room for another player with dreams made out of SC2, in hopes of best serving the future of our favorite players and the foreigner (especially American!) scene.
I am personally rooting for whoever replaces me and I can't wait to see how our tourny goes - I'll be watching it with you all
-Lumi

Random team tournaments where louder, lzgamer, and pretty much all the known players enter. What have you done in SC2?
You've won a single event, a smuft team invite where the other 3 teams where easily eliminated in that "random team tournament" in the semi finals.
Team Quebec and Root Gaming have more history of doing well in actual events.
Lets see, you lost the ITL tournament, you lost MLG BO5 showmatch to cauthonluck, same showmatch Artosis lost to the same player, and only won vrs machine (with a last second race switch).
Your only impressive showing was in smuft's invite which didn't have the best teams, (root gaming / team quebec).
Name a SC2 tournament you have won, besides Smufts invite?
Seriously you are delusional, bad mannered, and the only professional 12 hour a day player, who likes to talk shit to everyone else. Having only won a single SC2 event, which again didn't have the best competing against you.
I could list a lot of players who if they where going by skill I would pick over you. Please stfu and be happy you are well known for being BM. SC1 is a completely different game, and if they went by that, why not pick nony Please stop shit talking every single player as being beneath you when it is not the case by a longshot.
take 10 seconds and look at the players signed up for http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=118715
That is not a good pool of top SC2 NA players?just a random meaningless tournament? Yes you have a shot at being one of the best, if not best "NA" players, but you aren't there yet. There are a lot of players that are up there with you vying for the spot at the top.
note: this post is nothing against this tournament, I'm loving the picks so far and it's an invitational, HD starcraft and husky worked hard to set this up and I'm sure the games will be amazing.

Not to take sides or anything, but none of those events had anything in the way of prizes.

Much respect to the sponsor who put out money for this and Lumi's decision (even if it would be completely fine if he stayed in).

Shameless self promotion I'd call the HG and Smuft's tourney actual events over your Triple Strike stuff dude. No matter what people are going to try harder when that kind of money is involved so it makes performance in 'for fun' leagues for a game in beta pretty meaningless.
