People are so entitled. Yea, I hate when people act so entitled, like expecting someone to keep their word. People think they deserve everything that they're promised. Oh and since you don't know what you're talking about his quote was "if we get 20,000 live viewers tonight ill do live commentary and analysis on my stream this week. everyone watch and bring your friends." You realize he's accurate down to the word, right? He has done commentary and analysis on his stream this week. No one does it say he's forced to stream every day, while he streams during this week, he will do commentary. He has. He has, completely, kept his word. The only difference is, due to what everyone already knows, he lost his motivation to stream for a few days. Yet, every single word he stated has been kept true. If you want to pull out a quote, make sure it actually supports what you're saying. He's kept his word, exactly.
If you had a shred of sense, you'd realize that he elaborated enough OUTSIDE OF THIS CITED DIALOGUE that it would be for an entire week.
Do you really want to argue on the wrong side of this? I'm more than willing to bet that someone would love to watch the entirety of SOTG to put together everything he said to show you that he meant a week. Such a dumb argument too....

"if we get 20,000 live viewers tonight ill do live commentary and analysis on my stream this week. everyone watch and bring your friends."
That's what he said on Twitter. Technicaly he's already done what he said he would. He doesn't say how long or how often he would do it. How can you expect more than what he said he would do?

this is kind of foolish. he promised that he would give the viewers commentary if the number reached more than 20,000. the fact that he is not following through with his promise is kind of sad. if he was sick or prevented from doing it in some way then i could understand. however, some petty dispute with tl.net mods (justified or not) is not. suck it up and commentate like you promised your fans. this won't really affect the fact that i am a big idra fan, but the people who are trying to justify his failure to stream and commentate are kind of . . . meh.

Point out where he went back on his word.

wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh wahhhhhhhhhhhh wahhhhhhhhhhhhh idra said this idra said that. wahhhhhh, cry more or go do something with your time whiners.

Ok, he went back on his word. Stop watching him, go find another zerg hero, stop bitching jeez. Real fans don't care.
You are complaining because he isn't giving you free content.

I cant believe you people are seriously still discussing this. Cruncher may have cheated, cruncher may have not. Im a huge Idra fan and he was out of line. He could still be streaming right now and not freaking out at the mods, but he isnt.
Big. Fucking. Deal.
Nothing else you whine about will change the situation at all so just stop.

Does he say all week?

I don't understand how people could have interpreted it as he would stream every day without fail. From all the occurrences that he mentioned the bet not once did I assume he meant every single day. It was very clear to me that whenever he did stream it would be with commentary.
|
he didn't stop streaming because he never intended to stream for this entire week or all week as you keep arguing. he stopped streaming because of a hissy fit. as my first post stated, this goes against what he promised to the viewers. i could care less because i watch sotg regardless of whether idra is on there, but you have to feel bad for those people who actually joined with the hope that they could get commentary from him. that was the only point i was making.
im not going to argue semantics over whether "a week" is the same as "this entire week" or "all week." i am going to go with Swineflew and lurk some other forums.

I'm stunned no one considered the fact that Cruncher willing to "snipe" Idra imply cheating by all logic. If he wants to snipe Idra in front of his viewer, it's in order to humiliate him. Or Cruncher lost a tremendous number of time against him on ladder (someone said the current record is 3-20 in Idra's favor) So playing fair against Idra gives not Cruncher enough chance to humiliate, but to be humiliated. I don't think he is a masochist. More over, i think we all know that Cruncher can not stand to lose against Idra. Just remind the time where he unplugged to avoid a crushing defeat... It is pretty obvious that "sniping" him goes with cheating. Otherwise, he'd rather avoid Idra on ladder instead of losing a ton of point.

Despite what I wrote above, I would not punish Cruncher in any way. There's just not enough proof that he streamcheated. But, this will hurt his reputation either way, and if he did cheat, it is just a matter of time before he slips up and gets caught red-handed. This 'sniping' was a real poor decision, Cruncher, and nothing positive could ever come from it. You got your win vs Idra, but you lost so much more. Anyway, now we have a great topic for the next round of interviews.with Greg. We need Idra. SC2 needs him. God damn it, I need him!
This post just sums up how hilariously melodramatic Idra fans are being about this issue. Dude is gone for two days, and you act like Chill inflicted a national-scale tragedy on the SC community.
