I'm glad that guy finally got a long ban. Thanks Mystlord! He was such an annoying poster. Even in the rare posts he didn't insult anyone, his argument basically boils down to "me and my friends all do/believe/think the same thing, so it must be right."

Damn, seems like lots of people learnt to use the report button (or got access), i wanted to report about 5 posts from today's GSL LR, but 4 of them were already reported.
Hm odd, So i got banned for a week for spelling incorrectly and posting offensive posts, however i did not get a single warning from any of my posts so I don't even know which one was offensive. Weird how this site works, can anyone link me towards the rule where grammar will get you banned?

Yeah the spelling is really what got you there, cough. Especially regarding how it was so quaintly placed in a tournament thread.
Show some respect to other community members, you can show your personal dislike in a more eloquent and respectful manner without resorting to flat out insulting people. While you're at it you might want to put some effort into your posts, such as capitalisation, punctuation, grammar and decent english while you are at it.
If you don't bother to make your post presentable, why would others bother to read it?
As a final comment I have to state that a two day ban would have sufficed. Normally I would warn but seeing how several infractions of TL policy and forum ettiquette decided to have a baby in the form of a single post I decided to step up the penalty. Another thing that has to be mentioned is that I just cleaned up dozens of reports with live events going on and as such I probably acted like a shark with blood in the water at the time.

Don't feel bad. I pulled a two week ban, after never having been banned, for making fun of someone who was balance whining in a live report thread a lot of it is the mood of the mod who stumbles across your bad post.
Granted, its better not to rise to the bait in the first place and a bad post doesn't justify another bad post (which I had been warned for after calling out some ignorant ass in another thread).
Moral of the story, only make well thought out posts and report anything that makes you want to make a trash post in response.

Edit: do not fuck with nyovne, I got into an argument with him over a post I didn't think was mine (got a warning PM) and he gave me the verbal smackdown (needless to say I will never argue with him again). In my memory's defense it was for a post I had made over a month previously
