Seriously, we understand that you think Flash is the #1 player of all time, he's bonjwa, ultimate weapon, nobel prize winner, and all those good things but calm down for fuck's sake.
ahaha
I think this was pretty harsh actually. I don't see why it even needs a warning. Heaps of people suggested there wasn't enough praise for Flash. This guy makes an amusing and generally harmless joke post and gets banned. Lame.
He made a horrible flash bonjwa thread, and when that was closed, he tried to continue on in the PR thread. It wasn't even something particularly clever or funny, either - he just made a petition and a poll. I mean, him wanting more praise for Flash is fine, but there comes a point when it becomes really, really obnoxious.
Edit: lol SubtleArt
Ah, well with that extra information then I can't help but approve of the ban. I was going off just that one picture.

How is this not enough praise?
it's a great praise but he's certainly more than just an obvious pick for the best player in the world. everyone knows he's the best. we are rather witnessing something special and saying he's just the best player is under-playing it i guess. people probably wanted to see something more colorful for what that kid is doing right now (e.g golden mouse, 3 consecutive dual finals, kespa ranking, elo - credits to stylish)
if someone were to write a ESPN power rank for roger federer during his ascension and prime, people won't be satisfied with "he's the best player in the world." it just lacked some taste that people want in a power rank. that's what separates PRs from mere rankings

Anyway, I just thought I'd point out that my implication that Nada is a Judas for leaving broodwar for SC2 is not unjustified. He is leaving for an inferior game with less skill required and less brains required and it might well be motivated by money, seeing as he is a big name and will no doubt get loads of money for moving to SC2. Me getting banned seems laughable, when compared to the fact that many people in the thread about Boxer, July and Nada moving to sc2, replied very angrily with various taunts.
Such as FUCK SC2, SC2 is fucking gay, SC2 is for fucking idiots, SC2 is for the mentally challenged. These people didn't even get a warning and I get banned without even using a swear word and actually having a logical line of thought. I',m sure that there are admins that agree with my standpoint. Anyway I accept that my point of view is extremely biased and pro BW, but at the same time I see no reason I should get banned. How about people saying SC2 gay, FUCK SC2, SC2 is for idiots, SC2 is for people with limited mental capacity. I didn't not swear, my intention was not to provoke flaming and I see no reason I should get banned unless the people previously mentioned get banned as well.
Rant over. I hope you lot can improve your moderating as I think your moderating has done a lot of good to TL.net, but at the same time you need to be consistant.
Clearly you can see the difference between that post and the single one-liner you put out that you were banned for. You wouldn't be banned for that above post, and look, you aren't banned! Consistency!

I'll take it on the chin if I was banned for posting a one-liner, it just seems some of the people in the thread I posted about made much more malicious comments regarding SC2 than I did and some of them were in one-liner format as well. IMO there is as difference between expressing an opinion on something and just randomly swearing at something.
1. Do not insult people. <- really just don't say fuck you etc and thats like 90% of the bans from people just raging 2. No memes esp of the image variety
arb just got himself banned for a "cool story bro" I get the feeling from reading the ban description (and the sheer stupidity of it) that it was intentional, anyone know why?
