While I feel that Orb had the upper hand in that match, he was undeniably and excessively BM to everyone involved. If calmer emotions had prevailed, he might even have won the rematch due to not being on tilt. That being said, I don't mean to continue the argument; just putting my thoughts out there and leaving it at that. Frankly, though, the results are irrelevant when it comes to the ban: Orb deserved it, and rightly so. Also, EvilTeletubby, that was a pretty damn moving speech you gave in the ban reason. I'm not being sarcastic or mocking or anything, I was truly moved. In fact, here's a little secret about me: When I first read the Ban List in its entirety, I was driven to speak aloud the more dramatic and ominous ban reasons (usually the bans that involved prominent figures / events). Your ban reason has now been added to that list. And I was tingly while reciting it, because it felt so epic. =O | ||

Orb is a nice guy/good player in general but if _anyone_ throws that big of a fit they deserve a ban. His was a bit more long time coming since I feel the way he conducts himself in general is usually about that inflammatory. This case just happened to span 2 threads and go on for pages and pages... Lesson to be learned: Shit will happen that will make you flip out in a SC2 tourney. Sometimes it really blows and is hard to swallow. But in either case, don't sell yourself down the river and be a dick to everyone involved... even if you somehow get your way you will lose more than you could ever gain from that 1 game. | ||

As a DC dinner regular, however, I hope he eventually comes to his senses and matures until the next time he can show up at dinner if he wants to salvage the friendships he acquired from these lans. Gretorp had a similar disconnect issue with avilo , but both players agreed to a regame and gretorp handled it in a professional manner fitting of a fnatic team member. | ||
