Don't post in this thread to say "gay gamers are like everyone else, why do they have a special thread?" It is something that has been posted numerous times, and this isn't the place for that discussion. For regular posters, don't quote the trolls.

@mora I was wondering why you think that more gay guys have quite different hobbies (such as fashion and whatnot) then most strait guys (this is an assumption I am not prepared to defend just an observation of mine, obviously there are exceptions to this), the comparison I am seeing is how women have different hobbies on a grand scale then men (again a generalization). PS sorry for bad typing just finished reading a book in german and my brain takes a while to switch into more fluid English :D

I also always liked what I thought to be more girly things IE love movies/more emotional things. This thread has been really interesting and as someone who lives in San Francisco I often find myself getting annoyed with overly flamboyant Gays (same mentality as I don't walk around screaming I love tits and whatnot) but this thread has really helped me to see the other side and be more accepting. The linked article is actually a really good read for people that need HUGE sample sizes to finally come around on some of the extreme stereotypes. Although mostly the people who think gays sleep with a new guy every night are not rational or interested in data.

If you were to ask a question such as "What do you think off HuK, personally I think he's cute" or something like that. But to take up space on a very meaningful thread to some people without any major purpose is not good at all. Speaking of which, what are everones favorite progamers based on cuteness/sexiness? Or whatever Ciao

Apparently it's a question gay people don't like to answer irl as they always think you're joking with them :-/ So yes this is a serious question. Some do and some don't, depends on your scene and disposition. This is also true of straight guys (I have met plenty who manscape pretty extensively) but I dont think they share that info very freely either lol.

Makes me curious what they actually think of their gay friends. Well when I get a child I certainly want him/her to pass my genes on to the next generation. A friend doesn't have my genes so I don't care. Darwanian emotions I guess.

And even having your semen implanted in a surrogate woman (dont know the proper english word). Also almost possible here legally, in case you do care about your 'genes'..

I know plenty of straight guys who do in my area - I'm one of them, although because I'm a pretty hairy git my reasons lean more towards hygiene than reactions in bed. I do trim the front down though - to quote Scrubs - "Everything seems much... grander." A question for the gays that I've been wondering about: It's a pretty common stereotype that gay men tend towards the media and fashion industries rather than the more traditionally masculine workplaces. I was wondering if this was because gays feel more naturally inclined towards these areas, or if it was because they have traditionally been seen as more accepting of non-hetero sexualities and thus a more welcoming environment?

Passing on your genes is the most basic instinct of all freaking life. And are you really serious in that you don't see a process that is "Also almost possible here legally" as worser?

Basically, the USSC ruled in favor (8-1) of the Westboro Baptist Church who enjoys protesting at the funerals of American soldiers. Their ideas are basically that God is punishing America for its acceptance of homosexuality. It's the correct legal ruling by the laws of our nation but it is a really depressing day to be an American. I was just wondering what you guys thought of this.
