Hello everyone I am Jinxed (though I still will always go by LeLoup on here). I am an amateur streamer/caster here on LD and also the lead administrator/head caster of Liquid Pasture Community League.
I'm slowly starting to ramp up the amount of streaming that I have been doing so I figured that now that I've got my stream to a quality that I am happy with I would make a new topic.
Now if you're looking for high level play and players dominating the games they are in by playing mid/carry all game then you have the wrong stream. What you will get from me is mid level support/offlane play that focuses on being as active as possible early on and then as useful as I can be later on. I'm still learning as much as I can about the game though so I will make mistakes. However you can always come in and laugh at me for them if that's what you want. Current MMR is 3600, but we've been slowly going up for a while now (I took a pretty long break from ranked there, but I'm still pretty close to that level).
I'm pretty interactive when people are talking in stream. I have two monitors so I can always keep an eye on chat if there are any comments/questions. I like to respond to people and the more active chat is, the more open and talkative I'll be. So if you do end up stopping by, be sure you say hi.
Other than that I will occasionally be doing casting of games. If you have a game that is particularly interesting you can leave the match ID in this thread and if I don't feel like playing for the day I may cast it instead. Also when Liquid Pasture Community League starts up again I will be casting that, so there should be plenty of content coming your way from me.
Last thing that I am working on is taking highlights from my stream and turning them into videos on youtube. I have yet to upload any (they are a lot of work and I'm not 100% confident in my video editing skills) but hopefully I can start to get some up there for you guys to watch. For now though I am uploading LPCL Season 4 to my youtube account and I have the first two cups completely uploaded and ready to watch.
So I hope you guys will tune in and say hi. Gaming is always more fun with other people around after all. If not, I will hopefully have highlights that you guys can check out to get a feel for the stream.
I have streamed most of the TLIH games that we've played. I will be trying to though, because I don't want to miss more moments like the Plansix stalker Nyx, the Black hole cancel, or Firebolt's inability to hit powershots.
(BTW: I have videos on my youtube of the last two. I linked them in the TLIH thread as well.)
Also, I played IO in my first game on stream yesterday. Could have gone better, but I figured out that i just don't get assists somehow with the hero (bad spirit control probably lol).
The best thing about LeLoup is that sometimes he plays with me and I get to pretend I'm on his level, then at the end of the game I avoid looking at the scoreboard so that I can maintain the illusion.
The biggest difference between us is that I know my place. People like LeLoup, with their aspirations of MMR mobility, are only going to disappoint themselves in the long run. I mean, where does it end? Before you know it, people are going to be asking why there are no wards, instead of politely asking you (with a note of desperation) if you can buy some.
They'll expect you to mek before they die.
They'll expect you to use dust just because there's a Riki attacking them.
Is this the life you want to lead?
Not for me, no sir. I'll stay down here in the trench with the potatoes. They are my people.
That TP was the highlight of my week. The flubbed relocate I could take or leave, but the TP immediately afterwards was beautiful, if only because you sounded so confused about what could possibly have interrupted it.

I think you're good, sir. Now you'll have to live in fear of dissapointing me. Have fun. Smartass.

It makes me wish I was streaming during it because there was a genuine 'OMG wtf did I just do?' to the whole series of events that I don't think I will ever replicate again.
