Although the spikes seem to be the same as what we are experiencing, it is related to the latency problems at the HKIX.

I would be surprised if the route from the US to KR went via HK. Do a tracert (cmd > tracert kr.logon.battle.net) and post it here to check.

I have been doing fine on the kr server for about a week or two now and just last few games hitting these weird lag spikes like you guys are describing, very frustrating as I just joined a new clan on KR and am wanting to practice there, hopefully it will clear up later on in the night. >_<, thanks for this thread ! Really eased my worries somewhat about the problem being on my end, because I am pretty sure it's not.

I have found a solution to this problem – change ISP to iiNet.

No other complaints about Internode, they served me well for a long time, just their connection to South Korea is god awful.
