Here is what i am looking for
+ Show Spoiler +

What is your budget?
2000 usd max

What is your resolution?
I will be using 2 monitors, the primary is 1920x1080

What are you using it for?
I will be using it mainly for StarCraft 2 and streaming. I want to be able to stream at 1080p, with web cam and mic. I am looking for a pc that can handle even touch (like team games) situations with the graphics maxed.

What is your upgrade cycle?
I have a relatively slow upgrade cycle and would have this pc 3+ years.

When do you plan on building it?
I plan on ordering and building it in April

Do you plan on overclocking?
Yes, just a little (advice wanted)

Do you need an Operating System?
I need windows 7 home

Do you plan to add a second GPU for SLI or Crossfire?
Not right now, but I would like to keep the possibility open for later. (advice wanted)

Where are you buying your parts from?
PixMania.com

Get Asrock P67 Pro3 instead: http://www.pixmania.com/dk/dk/9157667/art/asrock/p67-pro3-rev-b3-socket-11.html

Get Samsung 830 instead: http://www.pixmania.com/dk/dk/10843803/art/samsung/desktop-kit-med-intern-ss.html

Get GTX 560 Ti instead: http://www.pixmania.com/dk/dk/8901204/art/asus/geforce-gtx-560-ti-top-di.html

All are same price or less offering better performance than the components you've choosen. I didn't go through the rest but I'm sure there are improvements to be made in those areas as well.

For power supply, get Antec Neo Eco 520C: http://www.pixmania.com/dk/dk/10659524/art/antec/neo-eco-power-pc-520c-520.html

Asrock P67 Pro3 cannot do SLI but your original choice couldn't either.

Samsung 830 performs better than Crucial M4 and is just as reliable.

GTX 560 Ti > GTX 560. It has more stream processors, ROPs, and TUs. If you can make use of 2GB of VRAM (which you can't since you are playing at 1080p) then you wouldn't want a shitty GTX 560 anyways. You would instead look at getting a Radeon HD7970.

HAF912 can fit six drives, look at the picture.

So I'm putting my computer together right now. I am using this power supply and this gpu.

However, it seems that the power cables don't match... in fact I don't see a single 6 pin PCI-E cable coming out of my psu. wtf?

Also it appears my gpu has two 6 pin PCI-E slots.... so.... yea...

XFX Core Edition 450 V2 provides one 6+2pin PCIe connector. Since the GTX 560 Ti requires two 6pin PCIe connectors, you will need to use a molex to PCIe adapter that was provided by MSI for the second 6pin PCIe.

@Shadowfax
(SkyR got there before me. Good advice from him, as always.)

I didn't look too much around that website but:
no, that mobo can only handle one video card

In Europe, the HR-02 Macho is a pretty darn good cooler. (here it's a bit too expensive)
The Coolermaster 212 will handle a moderate overclock just fine, but the HR-02 comes with a very quiet fan and is also a good performer, so if fan noise doesn't bug you (not that the 212 loud, the HR-02 is just very very quiet), the 212 will be just as good.

The main thing with SSDs is that Sandforce type drives have had quality problems in the past (that is less so now, but they still have a bad reputation). Samsung and Crucial (as well as Intel) are the main stable and reliable SSDs. So yes, the advice was good for the Crucial M4, but the Samsung is its equal. Here in the states the Crucial is almost always less expensive, but if the Samsung 830 is cheaper, go for it.

If you get an SSD, some people like to get a quieter & slower 5400 (or 5900) rpm hard drive. They're usually larger for the price and work just as well for media files. Slower isn't as good for running programs as a 7200rpm drive though.

The 560Ti is better than the 560. Why? More processing power underneath. VRAM (the stuff on the GPU) is like regular RAM: you need enough, but after that more provides zero increase in performance. 2GB can be useful if you have a resolution larger than 1920x1200. Otherwise its useless. But speaking of GPUs, if you're considering SLI, you may as well start with a higher end card that will work well as part of a multi-GPU configuration. Again, this is mostly useful if you have larger than a 1920x1200 resolution, because otherwise a single GPU can provide all the power you need. So if you're headed in that power-user direction, I'd look at something like a 7950, which will be significantly more expensive than the 560Ti, but already overkill 1920x1200 and below, can power larger resolutions on its own, and can be effectively used as part of a multi-GPU configuration to overkill multi-monitor resolutions, etc. Looking at your website (I wasn't supposed to do that, lol), this 7970 is bizarrely low-priced. Maybe they meant 7950:
http://www.pixmania.com/dk/dk/11731165/art/amd/radeon-hd-7970-3-gb-gddr5.html
Now of course that's still twice as much as a 560ti or so and overkill for 1920x1080 so not worth it unless you're multi-screen gaming or have a giant monitor, but SLI 560Tis just don't make that much sense.

RAM: the AMD ram is better because there's 8GB instead of 4
It has lower timings as well (infinitesimally faster)
but is rated for 1.65v instead of 1.5 (less preferred for Intel systems). Get one of these:
http://www.pixmania.com/dk/dk/9050842/art/crucial/pc-hukommelse-2-x-4-gb-dd.html
or if you want to pay a few more Kroner for pretty (unnecessary) heatsinks

Lol I am blind, the 1 PCI-E connector was hiding ==

So the adapter that does from the PCI-E into two white connectors (only has 3 pins?), those pins fit into the 4 pin (all horizontally arranged) sockets in the PSU. That good? Idk what their names are ;s

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148767 Plug into Sata3 or Sata2 connector on my motherboard?

Also what are the other 2 inputs on the back for? The longer one I assume is power, dunno what the shorter one is.

(The white connectors have 3 pins because they don't need to connect to the fourth pin in the molex connection. That fourth pin is used for other potential connections, but not this one.)

Few other questions

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148767 Plug into Sata3 or Sata2 connector on my motherboard?

Also what are the other 2 inputs on the back for? The longer one I assume is power, dunno what the shorter one is.

Long one is for power yes. The other is a jumper, you don't need to worry about that. You can plug into either SATA 2 3 or 4 since those will be the Intel SATA 3Gbps ports.

edit: oh if you're talking about the one beside the long one than that's for data (connects to your motherboard).

So I'm putting my computer together right now. I am using this power supply and this gpu.

However, it seems that the power cables don't match... in fact I don't see a single 6 pin PCI-E cable coming out of my psu. wtf?

Also it appears my gpu has two 6 pin PCI-E slots.... so.... yea...

just use the adapters included with the gpu

Lol I am blind, the 1 PCI-E connector was hiding ==

So the adapter that does from the PCI-E into two white connectors (only has 3 pins?), those pins fit into the 4 pin (all horizontally arranged) sockets in the PSU. That good? Idk what their names are ;s

It's called a molex fyi. It's 12v and 2 grounds. GPU does not use 5v.

Does that mean... I connected something wrong?

No. Molex has four pins. One of them is for 12v, one of them is for 5v, and two of them are for ground. GPUs only use 12v so manufacturers exclude the 5v pin.

In Europe, the HR-02 Macho is a pretty darn good cooler. (here it's a bit too expensive)

You mean here in the US? I disagree. It's $52 including shipping from Amazon. Considering its combination of great cooling performance & low noise & the fact that it simply has no competition sub-$70 that can even come near in those 2 aspects combined, I'd say it's priced very well.

I mean, what do we have? NZXT HAVIK-140 & Xigmatek Aegir are louder and barely better in cooling, if at all. Megahalems comes without fans and is $65. Everything else is much louder and/or worse cooling... and then the one that beats it: Silver Arrow is $70 @ NCIX.

Cool, so almost everything is plugged in I think now.... except the DVD drive.

Says it's SATA, but my SATA cable doesn't seem to fit. Also, I have a lot of 1-pin connectors from the case (some LEDs, front power button, etc) that I don't see a matching name for in the picture of my motherboard. Do I just plug them into anywhere that is that size?

Have a lot of unused plugs from the PSU as well, do I need to do anything about them, or is it fine to let them hang?

If your SATA doesn't fit than you're doing something wrong.

Read the manual...

You can leave un-used molex and SATA connectors tucked away somewhere in the case.
