The community council is not made up by average joes who don t know anything about the game that they are playing (or in many cases) mostly watch | ||

The Community Council involves current SC2 pros, former SC2 pros & selected SC2 streamers. I don't know if anyone outside of those circles that is involved with game balance & patches. | ||

Think of football coaches, some are not/were not player themselvs. | ||

Well it seems pretty clear to me they are doing a very bad job with Protoss... and i even play Zerg, but current representation of Protoss on top level pro play demands buffs asap | ||

Diverse Race games are never 100% balanced and intricate balance also depends on maps. Over the last 15 years I've played many competitive games. Listen man, the game's designers used to have massive corporate resources behind them; if any one talked the way Idra or Avilo did about David Kim then the massive corp can crush them on many levels. That is no longer the case. The game's balance people are no longer protected. I respect their privacy. Hopefully, so will everyone else. I did not consider this, i just want to pass feedback, they clearly are doing a poor job at balancing Protoss. Its dissapeared from pro play basically. So they may need some help | ||

That being said, the prolonged hesitation to actually buff Protoss meaningfully is a mystery that I just can't wrap my head around. You damn well know players like Harstem and Rotterdamn are on the Balance Council, so it's just very bizarre to me that buffs weren't/aren't being pursued more aggressively. ZvP seems mostly fine, but PvT is still an absolute mess for Protoss. | ||
