Of course it's far too early to talk about balance, but those showmatches were... embarrassing. If the game isn't ready to be played, then don't play it. Do battle reports + videos. Would have been more than enough and everyone would have been happy.

Since Blizzard finally gave up their "No old units ever" can we just retool the reaver to do what the disruptor does without being essentially a suicide unit? No one is going to build those unless they're dirt cheap.

Really can't wait for the multiplayer panel to answer some questions. In the showmatches it looked like the maximum worker saturation per basefor minerals was still 24 and still 16 for optimal efficiency. So no needing less workers per base, you just start with 12 workers, skip one minute of early game and mine out faster basically. .

I'm basing nothing on nothing dude, just saying those showmatches did a terrible job hyping LotV. It was a bad idea because the games were dull, some units appeared really retarded. Not positive at all. The game wasn't ready to be played on stage.

Too me it sounds like the battles will be more chaotic than in HOTS. Harassing bases should never be easy. Harassing should be high risk/high reward. Too much teleporting/warping/nyndus/ speed buffs etc. This is the reason why you don't see dominant players in SC2.

I hope you can use the Infestor dmg buff spell while being burrowed. The possibilities are endless!
Just imagine buffing locust. Previously you had free units. Now you have free units that can fly and have insane dmg numbers when buffed by a hidden infestor!

That was the original purpose of the swarm host. They never intended to give Zerg a lurker in HotS. They added in an AoE area control unit. So you want them to get rid of a hit-and-run siege assault unit?

I'd be surprised if their cost doesn't get reduced significantly before release, though I can understand them being worried about toss having a cheap, midgame AoE option.

Well, they have said they have tried to add in the lurker but didnt see it work. They have wanted to adding it. And they have tested it.

The cyclone is on its way out with its one track mind before beta even starts. That unit was just stupid. Other changes seem ok and can be developed further towards balance I think. This really is a huge change overall. It's really interesting too see if they pull this off.
