Inven reports that Prime has not received agreed upon payments from their former sponsor Tt eSports.
Prime and Tt eSports had previously signed a sponsorship agreement that lasted between January 2012 and June 2014. According to Prime, Tt eSports failed to pay out sponsorship funds in 2014, only providing them with the final month's worth of funds upon the ending of the contract.
A statement from Prime read "We wanted to end things in a good way as we had kept a good relationship for two years and six months, but at the end Tt eSports is trying to pass off this issue with no valid reason."

There's not much anyone can do because teams can barely afford to stay open much less get lawyers involved. I'm still owed money from various organizations in the scene (none of my sponsors though, they kept up their promises fortunately).
I bought a Prime branded TT eSports keyboard last year. I've loved it, but should I feel bad now? poor Prime. They've been one of my favorite teams, hope they get some good luck headed their way soon.
Sad to hear, but Prime isn't exactly making things happen. Tt doesn't seem like it gets much market share increases from Prime and their influence, and maybe they think that Prime is undeserving of endorsement money.
I hope this isn't the end of Prime. Iconic team, and in the wake of IM's demise, will be a huge blow to the Korean scene, even if they aren't really performing up to snuff. Prime spawned a lot of great players and has given chances to many young up-and-coming players as well. Let's hope they can get back on their feet and find some stability.

Not really, as I understand LG simply didn't renew IM after the first year of the contract, but also didn't specifically announce they are NOT renewing the contract either, so IM continued to play with LG in their name for like a year despite that LG was no longer paying them in hopes that LG would renew the sponsorship. The renewal obviously never took place and I'm guessing that they never got any additional money from them either though I don't know about the last part.

Doesn't matter if they feel now that they aren't getting a market share increase during the contract. That just means they don't renew the contract. You can't just decide in the middle to no longer pay and continue to use their image to sell products and get free exposure during the events.
Why am I not surprised? Unfortunately, Thermaltake isn't exactly well in the computer hardware segment of the industry. Even Cooler Master is thought of more than Thermaltake.
Not sure if this is allowed, so mods please let me know and I will delete this, but if you want to reach out to Ttesports you can email Tony Liu, the person who doesn't want to pay Prime, at -- mod edit --

That's not how the real world works, knowing a small team can't afford anything, so a large company can easily exploit them, that's scumbag crap. TT knows prime can't afford to sue them for what they owe.
