I'm only speaking from experience dealing with their North American office, mind you. Their North American office has been a complete mess for several years, they haven't had a stable esports/marketing person (they've had 5 people since 2011 hold the job); and they usually take anyone competent and send them to the global office (Eric).
To give some more info and a story - we, CSL were sponsored by Tt eSports in 2011 and renewed the sponsorship in 2012. They had committed 10k for our finals, which was live in Florida with Day9 casting. The reason was they were planning a new product launch around that time, in June, and wanted to put a lot of marketing into promotion of the product in NA, a strategy they haven't really done before (most of their focus has been in Asia, where they're really big). Everything was cool, this was all agreed upon by their NA director at the time.
Two weeks before the final, we got notice that 'oh, our product launch date changed so we aren't putting in this budget.' Just like that we lost half our budget for the event, everything (production, casting, had already been paid out of my pocket. We scrambled to figure out a solution and escalated the issue up to their global office and we ended up getting 3k out of them. We ran a fundraiser via TL and ended up raising 5k to cover most of the player flights and it ended up being a fun event, but that was the end of our relationship with Tt eSports.
We've worked with Razer since then and they've been very professional and awesome. <3 Razer
Wow, it's pretty bad by them indeed. Glad it worked out for you nonetheless.
I hope Prime will get their money, it d be sad if they disbanded. And also Tt cannot just break a contract like that in all impunity!

I use a TT esports mechanical keyboard myself. If I can afford to buy a different brand mechanical keyboard - I would. Not that I'm complaining my current one is bad, it works fine. I'd be willing to dump my current one and use the other instead just as a message that what they are doing to PRIME is wrong. PRIME isn't the guilty party here and they get robbed of funds to barely survive off one of their few if only sponsors.

presumably they are under contract?

I would like to say I'm surprised...

We should really have an eSports community-wide 'blacklist' of known disreputable vendors/organizations/entities. And we should encourage transparency among all members of our community about this kind of thing. So many people are silent, for whatever reason. Then you just see people saying "yeah this is how things go in our community" and nothing changes. Awareness is a first step in combating these kinds of things. Professional industries have the means to prevent or rectify thievery and failure to abide by legally binding contracts. Why is our community continuously susceptible to these basic exploits, where-as more developed industries are not? What is the distance between us, and how do we cover it?

Maybe White-Ra can talk some sense into them

Being the ex-owner of CheckSix Gaming, I can say that Ttesports was close to a year late on their payment for the last 4 months of the contract term. I can back up what Xeris claimed about the NA region. For about 6 months TteSports didn't even have North American staff. They turned over all of their regional employees and had all NA business reverted back to Corporate.
I hope everything works out for Prime. Most of us in eSports are definitely no stranger to situations similar to this. Kudos to Kespa for attempting to resolve the situation. Best wishes.

Just wondering. Around how much does sales through the team site or links help the team? I was thinking about upgrading my peripherals but the price difference isn't small between online retailers and the team.

I... I'm thinking positively of KeSPA for taking a stance to protect their teams.
I'm not sure about anything anymore.
Except that I love Prime, and that TT eSports sucks. Hopefully Zzang and Prime are still getting along well!

TTesports also is involved with a lot of other teams and players.. This is bad PR for TT too, I highly doubt they'd do this just to fuck prime over. Sucks. Again.

TT Esports already has a shaky reputation, they done stuff like this in the past when they feel like their product won't be marketed ECT, pretty bad business, but this time they went a bit far breaking contract.

Prime has been in a poor state for a while, huge blow losing Maru and others. I feel like the best plan would be to merge with another team.

I'm a big fan of SC2 White-ra and was considering to buy your content, but after reading this I won't. source: http://www.inven.co.kr/webzine/news/?news=115173&iskin=esports " Thank you for posting on their facebook.. It is something all fans can do to make a difference.

They don't track purchases of non-Axiom products to the best of my knowledge, however purchase of the Axiom keyboard, keycap or keycap full set gets us a percentage.

Well company would not say "We are broke..." they gonna be misting around until the very late moment which is sad, but I can understand that... Anyone know if Prime is at least okayish with money?
