Who cares how how hard the matchups and how strong/weak the races are when this is just a weird game from when it started. Just leave the game alone.

Did anyone actually watch any pro players on the balance test map? The 2.7 tank attack speed was huge. It's not a 10% boost in power, it's a significant chance to deal at least one additional shot per engagement. Oftentimes that only equals 1 or 2 shots, meaning that an additional shot is 50% or 33% more power than before. Roaches absolutely fold to small groups of siege tanks now, at least when there is buffer between them.

protoss wins 3 big tourneys in a row, better buff them more~~

nobody liked that change and they still go throu with it, accelaration change is enough no need speed

Great changes, imho, despite the usual whiners. Honestly, I wish the changes were bigger, though. I think what the game needs is a bigger shakeup than this to really spice up the matchups, which are getting a bit stale. The game is really quite balanced as it is, I would like to see MORE done to break the metagame than 0.1 changes in attack speed, but that's just my two cents.

Looks like Terran can finally transition into Battlecruisers though! This in itself is pretty exciting.

Not only that, but killing things even slightly faster reduces the time in which they are alive to deal damage in return, which means more of your units live, which means you deal more damage, killing them even faster, etc. Basically creating a snowball effect. In the case of a long range AOE unit, that effect is magnified because its entire groups that are being killed faster.

People are seriously underestimating the impact of buffing tank attack speed even by a small amount.

Well apparently they changed it that way so they had a reason for the original 2.7 or its just silly typo. Either way doesn't matter for the game. Tanks need double this love to even be an option.

So now that the oracle speed buff goes through and roach burrow movement speed as well, I vote that viking speed gets increased or thors get a cooldown ability called "Run". Or something even more ridiculously broken - stimmed marine/marauders run as fast as speedlings, since they're trying SO hard to make mech viable.

Faster = better, that's what Blizzard is telling us with HotS balancing :p

Buffing the tanks attack speed might make sense balance wise, but it just doesn't feel right...

They didn't, actually. sOs built Proxy oracles in basically every match with Bomber and it was shut down pretty much every time with no trouble on Bomber's part. Far from winning those games for sOs, they put him in a tough position he had to come back from.

The only matchup that affects is TvT, as always. Tanks suck and will always suck in TvP and in TvZ it really only affects all ins. The issue with tanks is not how much damage they deal, but rather that they got hard countered by vipers if you go mech and that the immobility of WMs/Tanks makes them incredibly vulnerable to buffed mutalisks.

except terran cant proxy shit and survive vs protoss, let alone do any earlygame pushes unless they do major damage. Protoss has 9 lives in every matchup, so yay lets buff them even more wcs korea season finals and blizzcon just wasnt enough!

Poll could be more specific:

I like the "Units that burrow or cloak while under the effects of Revelation will once again be revealed after unburrowing or uncloaking", but the other changes about the oracle are meh.

I'm ok with all buffs but the oracle. They are already really annoying earlygame, especially in teamgames.

EDIT: I think they should have buffed the Thor too. Dunno exactly how, but terran needs buffs and I have not seen that many thors lately.
I have the best fucking lawyers in the country including the man they call the Malmis.
