Seriously? My girlfriend and I don't really care about most the the Korean players over members of EG that are in NA. There are exceptions, like Liquid Hero, MKP and Crank. But the rest, I could give two shits about. And that is why the pros and Blizzard could give two shits about you and your girlfriend. I don't understand why people don't want to see the best Starcraft 2 players in the world, regardless of where they are from, play? I like watching SC2 and good games, but a lot of the time, I don't care who wins. But my girlfriend and I watch the games for players we like, because it is fun. And considering my girlfriend is the audience that all Esports would love to have, people who don't play, but would watch a game being played. Larger numbers is better for them. I think blizzard would rather have paying customers(ppl who bought the game and watch the game often) than ppl who watch the game once in a while.
Blizzard wants everyone to watch, along with Twitch and the teams. They all make money off the viewership. My girlfriend already owns a copy of SC2, she just doesn't play online. And there is no reason why we can't have an NA event for NA players.

What I said can be said in other words - Koreans are just more hard-working in StarCraft (or gaming). Hard work often pays off. This doesn't necessarily mean we are lazy or something, it's just that some people have different priorities like the guy below mentioned.

Well in west with all the respect to NA and EU players, most skilled people prefer different career then being pro gamer because its not mainstream here. So thats one reason why they cant compete with koreans. I didnt expect SO MANY koreans to come to NA though. One solution would be for example that WCS Korea would have 16 slots to WCS final while EU and NA 8 each. Maybe even less money too.

Not to mention Life vs Flash at the last MLG broke viewer numbers. (even when these casuals don't even care to watch or know these 2 players) But there is the thing, there is no reason we can't have both. There is no reason why there can't be a local NA event and Flash vs Life. That is why people are complaining. Every time there looks like there is going to be an NA event for NA players who live in NA, the Koreans come over in mass. MGL did very well when there were no Koerans at it too. There is no reason why we can't have both.
See, that's where you are wrong though. We DO have both. There has been a bunch of NA tournaments, albeit smaller tournaments, filled with like 90% NA players, but nobody watches them. You, for instance, aren't even aware these tournaments exist........ so I don't even know what you are talking about..

How would you know lol? They live together and get to play Sc all day everyday, Sounds ideal for a team house to me. Maybe its the way they practice or they just lazy :0

Europeans and Americans should play on KR, there's no-one there anymore, apparently.

I think that the core of the problem is that the regions with the most money are not the regions with the most skill.
If there was (far) more money to be made by playing SC2 where the best players originate from (South Korea) then Koreans would be more likely to stay and more foreigners would try going there without having to care only about "being the very best". Compare it to football where, overall, the nations with the highest amount of skilled players are the ones who offer the most money and exposure.
Right now we have a situation where you make more money by challenging less skilled players.

Perhaps I should have used non-koreans in lieu of white. But in any event, it's still the case that non-koreans simply cannot compete at the same level. Blame it on the culture, the work ethic or whatever: They never really have by any large margin. Blizzard is attempting to monetize esports, they're not running a charity. If there isn't anyone in NA/EU who can compete at the top with koreas, they don't deserve to get any money. Period. This is how professional sports works since the inception of organized leagues. Why in the world should blizzard block the best players from playing to make it fair for worse players?

You can hear that directly from Alex Garfields mouth if you watch the Pulse. He said he should have put a coach in there 2 years ago. NA players need something to train for that isn't unknown mob of Korean players coming to MGL that will be announced 1 week before the event in bracket. It hard to train for that.

Yea, sure believe that if you wish. Btw where is you proof to backup those claims? A NA player could practise 24/7 and he still wont be able to touch the Koreans since you only as good as the infrastructure you play in

Yes they want everybody, but you cannot make everybody happy, so they are trying to make the biggest group of ppl happy. And the biggest group want koreans, numbers dont lie.

Can anyone who knows korean translate some of the comments on that website as a "Korean Netizen WCS Reaction" thread or something I'd really really appreciate it!

EG-TL going to korea is the best we can speak of, and even then it's mostly koreans doing work.
