Also, that's kind of weird. If you choose to put different regions on different accounts, that means when you switch to HotS, that's your loss right? But if you chose to put everything in one single account, then you get more HotS licenses. Lmao.

It would be a good way to put it, if it was comparable. But it's not comparable. It's like you had a dual core PC, and then you bought a second dual core PC. Then someone released a quad core PC, and upgraded your dual core PC to a quad core for free. And took away your second PC.

As service they willingly sign into and subscribe to, which they then use to complain about spoilers they receive from said service. LOL how is it the same thing? The current situation boils down to: Scenario A: 1. Person A buys x regions of sc2 and puts it into 1 b.net account 2. Blizzard implements global play 3. Person A now only has 1 global play sc2 account and 1 b.net account Scenario B: 1. Person B buys x regions of sc2 and puts it into x different b.net account 2. Blizzard implement global play 3. Person B now has x global play sc2 account and x b.net account Simply put, it's just blizzard should've told people to to add seperate sc2 accounts instead of cramming them all into 1 b.net account, risking losing all your money from global play.

It wasn't a part of SC2 before hand when you brought those regions so got what you payed for. Your lucky enough your getting HotS on all accounts when you buy it once. Agreed sir. It is like being asked to be reimbursed for extra copies you bought just to change your clan tag, because now there are clan features.

It's really not fair at all that I bought a product that didn't have global play advertised, and now that its available in a completely different product I should get it for no cost.

Do I go to BestBuy and demand a free $50 rebate? No. I suck it up and realize that this shit is bound to happen to at least 1% of the population and vow to be a smarter consumer from now on. You guys bought multiple SC2 accounts, probably without even messaging customer support in making sure that global play wouldn't be available. Sure hindsight is 20/20, but when shit happens you just chalk it up to "shit happens," not stick your hand out for a free gimme. My opinion anyways.

Are you serious? You bought multiple copies FULLY AWARE that things could change to the game/global play maybe available one day. Now you feel entitled to getting something in return because blizzard is UPGRADING their game? I can't even take this thread serious. When you spend money you should know exactly what you are spending it on. Don't ever expect someone to give you something for free in return when they upgrade their product.

Nothing more nothing less. Which is all what most of the people here are asking for. I mean, if you have 3 accounts, you could just sell the other 2 and buy HotS from that, anyhow. But nope, apparently we're all fucking entitled and should've predicted that this would happen two years ago. Yeah, right.

And HotS will have global play from day 1, so yeah. I'll just give my NA SC2 account to my friend ( I have it on separate battle.net account, because why not. Never saw any reasons in adding all keys to one account ) and upgrade EU one to HotS and friend will upgrade NA one to HotS as well.

No need to get future games for free - lets not be too entitled. This, at least. Giving us extra accounts isn't going to hurt anything. We were SUPPOSED to have a separate MMR and ladder ranking for each race we play, but Blizzard apparently never followed up on that - having 3 accounts so you can play offrace and have fun without fucking demolishing your MMR into Platinum league would be nice . . .

No one forced you to buy multiple copies to begin with, and it's pretty much your own fault for wasting your money on multiple copies anyways. If Blizzard would grant you access on hotS for free just because you bought multiple copies, I might as well buy another copy and say I didn't know about gp and get hotS for free myself.. So silly.

You have a SC2 account for each WoL copy you bought. Buying HoTS should simply be the equivalent of buying the right to unlock the expansion and play it. On all of your accounts, not just on one at a time. It's an expansion, after all.
