This is a transcript of my recent chat:
Fraedenar: Sure, what's up?
you: So, i've got 3 licences on this account
you: EU/NA/KR
you: Would it be possible to split these up to new emails?
Fraedenar: It wouldn't sadly. We consolidate licences (combine games into one Battle.net, as per Battle.net's designed purpose), but we never split them.
you: There has been instances where this has been done, though?
you: I know of at least three people who had it done through US support
Fraedenar: Only by Game Masters who did not follow policy and have no idea what they're doing, which sadly happens in any job.
Fraedenar: I take it you don't know why we don't do this?
you: Ah, which also sadly means that to get your moneys worth, people ought to spam tickets until they get said GMs?
Fraedenar: That would be abuse of our support service, which will introduce a new problem for you long before you find someone who is willing to carry out a request that our service can't carry out.
you: Yeah, I get that - but please tell me why you don't perform this service, because to all of the people who did buy extra licences, it might help ease the pain of having thrown 25-50 euro in the bin
Fraedenar: It makes account trading too easy. We strictly forbid Account Trading and wouldn't assist with any request that makes that straightforward, such as splitting games off from each other so they can be easily sold. That in short is why we do not do this, ever.
you: Okay, fair enough. In that case, do you offer refunds for people who have had their licences voided?
Fraedenar: Our refund policy is 3 days. After that, we can't refund orders unfortunately.
you: Ah. So you can understand the frustration then?
Fraedenar: I can understand it but I'm also an employee of Blizzard Entertainment, so I have to enforce the company's policy.
you: I get that, and I'm not mad at you.
you: But this might at least relieve some pressure on you as I'll be forwarding this information to the rest of people in the same position
you: Thanks for your assistance.
