Congrats to Thorzain, but honestly this does somewhat make the award lose a lot of credibility. Thorzain only won because he had the fortune to be born in Sweden and not Seoul.

Honestly, I feel kind of sad that they gave MVP to a foreigner for this. I see the achievement, but this game isn't Brood War, the skill level isn't that different. I'm a huge ThorZaiN fan btw.

I agree with the people that it was kind of a pity MVP. Should have been Stats imo with his 5-0 which tied him for best map score difference (there was a few 6-1) but the only player to have a 100% win rate with more than 2 games played.

Last season they gave Jaedong a weekly MVP for his legendary drone wall in his game vs. Flying. So yeah... I don't think they take the MVP award too seriously.

Right now he's 1-5 in Proleague, and his only win came against Classic, and it wasn't even the ace match. I know he's the foreign hope blah blah blah but KeSPA could at least disguise this attempt to get more foreign viewers a little better.
