I like Thorzain, but I feel that it's rather silly to give him MVP. I understand the significance of symbolic gestures, but it just doesn't work when the recipient's PL record is overshadowed by so many other players.

Uhh, I get the feeling someone else had: condescending.

Like a "Oh I guess foreigners can play a little bit too" award.

I'd love Thorzain to destroy PL as much as the next guy. But giving the MVP for his current record is a bit much.

Sadly he only got the reward because he's the only foreigner to win in so long. His 1 out of 4 wins isn't very impressive not to mention Classic isn't exactly the most top calibre player. I do enjoy the foreigner recognition though.

That's nice and all, but I think it sounds more amazing than it actually is. Foreigners haven't played in Proleague for ages, of course there's opportunity to be the first foreigner to do such and such in Proleague. Not to take anything away from Thorzain, but the way a lot of these statements are made (I know this is just the translation) make it sound like so much more.

I wouldn't mind it if they gave ThorZain the biggest accomplishment award but MVP = Most Valuable Player...Is going 1-4 really the most valuable player on any team?
