Awesome motivation, I love his first answer and the passion that drives him. Having him on Team8 will be amazing too, since they're the team that would get the biggest improvement out of adding him.

And now I can put Major on my Fantasy Team~~~!

Wtf is wrong with korean teams, there are plenty of great players way better than Major outside, with better manners, but nope, better pick a low-mid tier pro, which best accomplishment was winning WCS Mexico (its not like there's only maybe 1 or 2 good players there).

I don't get it.

Maybe because no other foreigners want to stay in Korea for that long.

Actually, I've been wondering about this. Note that I am really happy for Major but if he's so good why hasn't he won anything noteworthy?

He won more than 10K$ in 2012.
He's young
He practice hard
He played BW before, dreamed proleague for years
Korea normal income means low to u North Europe boys, but acceptable to a Mexican boy. Proleague will be his main.
He's best 3 in Latin America. Thorzain from NorthEurope, Stephano from France,Huk from Canada,Idra from USA,now a Spanish speaker, competitive, young, growth potential, love proleague, maybe he could take a new continent to SC2,make proleague and SC2 more worldwide.............

give me a reason don't pick this boy pls.

If you've seen major stream it's easy to tell he is one of the mechanically strongest and most strategically capable players west of Korea. Yeah, he needs to work on his LAN performances, but if he gets through that I can hardly think of a foreign terran with greater potential.

Is he part of the team, or a trainee/practice partner?

I guess we'll know once the registered players for Round 2 come out.

He's part of the team but I'm not sure if he'll be able to play in Round 2 already. Revival for example couldn't play for EGTL, so not sure :/

Team8th is managed by KeSPA itself. In proleague if KeSPA said Yes who can say No?

Well if their rules were made beforehand and don't allow him to play in Round 2 then actually KeSPA is the one who has to say no.

Revival joined EG December 11,R1 already started.
Even R2 roster of teams haven't released now.

I agree. He's young, got talent, willing to work hard, and now he got the biggest motivation of his progaming career. I believe he will do extremely good, possibly better than Stephano in my book.

I said I'm not sure, not that he can't participate. Maybe the teams had to list their players at a certain date and it just isn't gonna be announced until R2 starts and you just don't know about it?
Just saying that there's a possibility and we'll only know once we get to see it.

I'd imagine mostly play tests, to see where he would rank in some kind of internal ranking system? For a KeSPA backed team to accept a foreigner, they would want to make sure that he's good enough to become a "starter" for the team.

Talent is such an inflated term. Given how much he practices he obviously doesn't have talent.

Anyway, love Major. My favourite player.

Is the Esf to KeSPA transfer window still on lockdown?

If its the same way with BW, rosters are updated for every month, not per round.

I hope you learn how to TvP >< So saddening watching him roll through opponents then just die to the first toss he meets, gl!

And thanks for the translation, I'll update his fanclub with the news when I get back from jury duty tt
