Make protoss warp ins at pylons cost energy on the nexus, you can warp in units at a nexus cost free. What would this do you might ask.... 1. Fix PvP allowing the defender to have an advantage by being able to chronoboost gateways where the aggressive player cannot. 2. No more forcefields. I believe FF was added to the game because pvp was broken - no defenders advantage. If there is no FF protoss gateway units could actually be good units before upgrades (Stalkers/Zealots) - I think this would help balance PvT making protoss and terran more equal in the early game, and changing the power of warp in pylons dramatically. FF has always been the bane of zerg. No FF we could see a lot more variety of strategy in the matchup because units like banelings, zerglings become more powerful. Also lowers the effectiveness of units like collosus. 3. Great synergy with new unit mothership core (recharge energy on nexus) - I'm a protoss player so don't tell me this is a balance whine, just tired of people trying to take legitimate wins away from me because i play with the "broken race" . /rant | ||

A protoss cannot survive 7 minutes without forcefields, gate units sucks against stimmed MM and ling roach or just mass ling allin wihout FF and guardian shield.. if you want to remove the ff, give a new gate unit to protoss and maybe we can discuss it. I really hope that blizzard wants to remove those stupid ability like FF or stupid units like colossi/roaches/marauders.. but this won't happens. | ||

When I left, MMA/Mvp were the best terrans, DongRaeGu was the best zerg, and the best protoss was undecided, but Oz was a contender. I know that pretty soon after I left, MKP shot right up, and I know Squirtle and DongRaeGu have done very well for themselves as well. So how do things stand right now? Feels so weird not being sure who the best players are. =P | ||

DRG is probably the best of all right now. Protoss is harder to pick one, although Squirtle is a good candidate. But I have a feeling he has had his peak. Genius apparently played well in GSL just recently, but he's teamless now, that drags him down... Naniwa of course is really, really good, but not in PvZ... Haven't seen Oz that much, he is probably up there still, he is in code S after all. You can pretty much watch the GSL standings this far, and draw conslusions from that  | ||

DRG is still probably the best Zerg, he had a pretty poor GSL last season but at MLG he looked amazing. Squirtle may be the best Toss but it's still a toss up (wahey) really between him, Parting, Genius, MC and maybe even Creator, in my opinion. In terms of foreigners, Stephano and Naniwa are the two who actually make stuff happen. Recently Sase and Socke have been turning heads, Vibe won the US nationals, and Thorzain is in the GSL. Surprising runs... Alicia got 2nd at MLG, and no one thought Alicia was a particularly remarkable Protoss. Sase got 4th, straight from the open bracket. Keen's been playing well. People who were hyped up a lot but aren't really delivering at the moment... Nestea and MMA are the big Koreans, there have been like no remarkable US players in any tournament since forever. Huk's results haven't been great lately either (though I consider him a favourite to win DreamHack). That's pretty much it right now. | ||

I've been playing terran for the past month or so. Have been a spectator since the beta and just recently got a copy. I thought terran was a cool race and decided to use it. I have realized that I think zerg would fit me better. I am a macro player and don't do much aggression, but like big timing pushes that just over power my opponent. Do you think I should switch over to zerg? Edit: I was gold rank 50 before new season | ||
