but srsly, blizzard is not doing any good for sc2. by improving queens and overlords they've actually DESTROYED my fav opening on small maps vs zerg - 10 pylon-10gate. It's not even a cheese just a way to put pressure and punish fast 2 or 3 bases... now its not viable so it's not like the game is imbalanced, but its BORING and it forces you to play expansion and only 1-2 strategies ALL the time (6gate immortals or 2-3 base colossi boring shit ) User was warned for this post | ||

In my mid masters(around 700 points) experience it works great against HT's because a heck of a lot of Medivacs heal so much HP that Storms are practically useless if you simply kite the Zealots. Colossus are easy to beat because of quad Viking production (obviously). The down side is that you have to delay Ghosts or the second Ebay, and cut the one that isn't delayed respectively, since Medivacs and Vikings cost so much gas. | ||

No smart Zerg would try fast 3 bases against a gateway first, one base play, and any attempt at punishing a Zerg for fast expo is a cheese. FE is standard ZvP. There are far more styles than you apparently think there are. Watch some of the Protoss streams and you will see. If you don't like what Blizzard is doing, go complain on the battle.net forums. | ||

But seriously, I think they have a place and like it was said, "You have to have a plan". You can't just say .. mm hm well he countered my Coloss and HT I will get carriers now. You have to be moving towards a late game goal of carriers. | ||

Zerg was underpowered before, but now that zergs are learning more builds and play styles,in combination with the overlord speed for scouting and new queen range to make it a little easier to defend in the early game zerg is now on par with the other races | ||

Now that I've seen it in action it's become a bit more viable. On your streaming lists, that show  WhO is currently streaming, could you please add some kind of tag right beside their name as to  Which race they play...I understand it would be hard for the majority of the 100+ streamers that are on, to keep track of Which race these players play... but could you please add some kind of option where either the top players or some top percentage have a  Symbol right beside their name? I know that its possible to click their name, and then let it load.. but sometimes I WanT to watch a specific race and do not know much about the players.. including What race they play.I feel it would heLp..Thank you for your wonderful service, and good luck to the Team Liquid SC2 team! grim | ||
