Several suggestions that he's at least a recently switched BW player:
1. He is GOOD enough to beat KawaiiRice while making silly mistakes (not getting combat shields, etc.) 2. Again, whether or not its flash is up to debate, but he certainly looks like a BW pro.

Names in SC2 are no longer unique. They each get a random 3 digit code attached to them to differentiate them. So it's possible to name countless players the same.
