What we did was stalk NosSave for recent matches, comparing build orders, to find flash was lllllll. Pretty solid evidence x) The problem with this is, that you cannot know if that name is same as Flashs bnet ID. As far as I know, Flash´s ID is not announced anywhere and you cannot tell what it is made of or hell, you cant even say its lenght for sure from the image of this threads OP. They found Flash via Battle.net. And linked his direct Battle.net profile which had exactly the same build order (based on the VODs). They didn't do a search for IIIIIII's anyway. They just linked the profile directly to his Battlenet page from SC2. Yeah but that has nothing to do with the name, only build orders. That another guy claimed that we would have had some other proof that we would know flash id I did the original comparisons between the FPVOD and NosSave's match history. He played the Flash account on the exact same map, in those exact spawn positions, with a game lasting the exact same time, with every piece of Flash's production matching identically in both food count and in game time between the FPVOD and the postgame build orders tab. Plus, it was played just a few hours before the video was released. Then factor in that the account has only been actively laddering very recently, with practice games vs KT IDs PGAB, Lizzy and Mind recently played as well. It's pretty absurd to think it doesn't belong to Flash at this point I think. If you are right, then it is most likely Flash. I have no energy to check it myself.

So it was not that he could not move fast but that he did not need to do so because maybe he uses his APM exactly where it is needed.
So far I am so hyped for Flash from what I have seen.
Also need to consider the fact that BW APM =/= SC2 APM both are calculated differently.

Guys can we get past this, we know that the account in the replay is the exact same one flash used in the video because of NosSave's match history. So its the same account. His control group setup, especially the camera setup and movement is practically identical. Those are the facts, maybe he has given his account to someone else with the same setup, but most of us think that is unlikely.

^ Indeed , you have to multiple sc2 apm by 1.3 to have "real" APM or BW APM

no, we're not using post game results, we're comparing the fpvod to the kawaiirice replay

Yeah but it was weird at start that KawaiiRice had so much more than Flash. Flash looked like he did not even spam early on. But later on he was on a constant 200 (while KR on 300) and in battles >500.
Anyway, this is so cool. I can not even believe we are living this right now. It's ESPORTS history in the making guys.
And btw, how can you tell yourself to be a noob when you beat people that train with SC2 for over a year?
Also, does anyone know the winratio of the bar code ID flash used? Was he winning a lot or not?

I think Flash means that he is noob compared to players like MMA, MVP and MKP.

Really impressive for only like a month of play. He is basically top 50 KR masters (overall, not just his division). 55% looks quite low but it's actually really good.

The biggest tell to me that its Flash against KawaiiRice (other than all the hard work MegaFonzie did) was the amount of scans he uses instead of mules. In the youtube video and the game against Kawaii, he stops muling at the same time. He also went very heavy on the medivacs.

The only thing we needed post game results to realise was what account flash was playing on. Everything else is a comparison between the VOD and the replay.
