I think you have just naturally discovered the concept of trolling. Primarch is parodying the attitude portrayed by a few people earlier in the thread, who were asserting that there is no imbalance, and that it's all up to skill/practice/creativity, something that Primarch disagrees with (I think).

They would hard counter everything lol, We might as well give them detect while we are at it so Terran can mass marine against protoss engame army I mean why not, Marines can already kill Broodlords, why not let them kill the cloaked units as well, such as the mother ship army.

If you (a terran player) are staunchly convinced that TvP is imbalanced, start proxy rax bunker rushing like MVP did. It's really easy to do, mirrors a build that was popular in early seasons on TvZ, and it's exceptionally powerful if unscouted. Sure, you're not getting any better at the game doing that build, but you'll win a lot.

If this is not a viable suggestion to you (the terran player), then stop complaining entirely. People are slowly figuring out TvP late game now (for example any map that's splittable you can turtle behind PFs into pure BC/Ghost and stomp a protoss rather handily).

Any player in any matchup will go through streaks of losing as they need to adapt to builds. Look at the PvZ metagame right now for a great example of this. Stephano's 12 minute roach max took just about every league platinum and higher by storm, and nearly all zergs were doing that in their ZvPs. Then the immortal/sentry all-in became pretty popular, and low and behold, the ZvP meta is evening out (do you see the strategy bar loaded with ZvP [H] threads anymore? Didn't think so)

I can guarantee any terran player posting complaints here that you will not improve, nor will the balance of the game, by you typing your grievances here. However, play more and practice more, and your TvP will stabilize.

As to the actual topic (the balance patch) I'm a pretty big fan. DTs are much easier to deal with in PvP, and the queen buff made holding proxy gates much easier. In my ideal world, the radius of EMP would go back to 2. I always thought that nerf was too hastily done, even from a Protoss perspective, as it felt like it was a nerf to make playing protoss easier, rather than "fairer." As a toss when I tried to split my units, I didn't get owned so hard by EMP. Now watching the TvPs in the late game that little bit of extra EMP radius would really help, as it's a lot easier hitting the 10warp of zealots with a 2 radius EMP.

Funny. This is exactly what terrans were telling zergs and protosses back in the day. You know what happened? Blizzard buffed them. They didn't learn to play at all.

Based on Blizzards track record it's better to keep whining.

That was then. Now for the first time they actually have something to whine about, which is everything TvZ and endgame TvP. With both of them being hard to balance due to terran not having any proper lategame units. Especially TvP where siege tanks aren't viable. These might be issues not solevable before hots, which luckily isn't as far away anymore.

My 2 cents anyways. People might argue that terran is suppose to get an advantage into the lategame by having a better early and middlegame compared to the other two races, but what then happens, and is happening, is that every terran aims to finish in the middlegame where they are strongest, instead of aiming for a lategame. This is the same problem protosses have vs zerg atm. Its so much easier to finish the game in the middle before broods are out, that no protosses really wants to aim for the lategame where a single mistake can ruin their army in a second.

Yeah, they listened to the zerg and protoss, because when they were whining, the GSL was almost all terran. Every tournament was won by terran. The W/L ratios were massively in terran's favor. The reason they don't listen to terran whining right now is because W/L are about 50%, terrans win about 33% of the tournaments, and GSL has a very good racial distribution for the first time ever. In other words, the game is finally close to being statistically balanced... which I'm guessing is why you are whining now?

Yeah, they listened to the zerg and protoss, because when they were whining, the GSL was almost all terran. Every tournament was won by terran. The W/L ratios were massively in terran's favor. Yeah because we can all play as well as MKP and MVP, obviously terran needs more nerfs since these guys can consistently win, terran must be OP

I love the GSL was all Terran argument when the old GSL structure was made to retain players in Code S, T was legitimately strong (probably too much so) early on, the maps were small and people just didn't play as well as they do today. Hello, plethora of strong allins putting a million Terrans into Code S and the structure keeping them in there.

I just wish they made stuff like BCs, Thors and Ravens better. Bio not being strong lategame is fine and all if Mech is actually viable. Not that it matters when Protoss is fundamentally broken and they refuse to adress that but what can you do...

just out of curiosity, didn't terran already have the best late game advantage of having 40-50 more army supply because they can just use orbitals? So by having up to 20-30% more army supply shouldn't Terran be able to either crush their opponents army by having way more stuff or using it to take out production while equal armies fight it out?

Yeah, having 15 SCVs is strong if you ever manage that. There's just this small annoying speedbump called chargelot-archon deathball with Storms and Colossi backed by warpgate reinforcements that's in the way. And it's ever so slightly steep. But yes, if Terran manages to get into a low-SCV Orbital powered extreme late game they are indeed strong.
