I wonder if all of the broodwar players will switch and how many will go to other games or just retire, or if it'll just still be a while while before they switch anyway. i hope when they do, or before they do, or after they do, we start to see a lot more serious skill increase of the players. the fact that people still win and lose with blind coinflips because they or their opponent just don't even bother to scout (not, "they missed it", "they flat fucking didn't even scout period"), is just bad, and just an example. I know our games young but oi. | ||

Most of them are blob v blob cuz it would be stupid to split your forces and play at such a disadvantage when grouping all your units into one army is the most effective. I follow both games and zvp, zvt and tvp are still blob vs blob. | ||

I've watched like every MLG and most GSL finals. There are still huge army blobs everywhere (Zerg armies usually attack in one huge blob, so do Protoss armies and Terran in TvP). Not to mention there's still hardly any micro in the BW sense. I couldn't care less about some spell casting micro when spells are so overnerfed and easy to use. Many units are simply incredibly dull. We all know which ones. But Blizzard won't fix them. They're proud of their Collosi, Marauders and such... | ||
