It's obviously sad to see it go, but it's great that esports will take this crucial step forward. Assuming this "unnamed Korean industry insider" knows what he's talking about, which I kind of doubt :p but we can hope, right?

All the random powerranks people do, there is suddenly a place where you can look and say: THESE are the best 5 players on each team, because those guys are the ones that the coach has the most faith in. There is always talk of Code B killers, with proleague you will now know whether they are actually killers because you will see them every week

An unnamed Korean industry insider said "There is a strong possibility that the next season of Proleague will have both SCBW and SC2, and the next one after that will have only SC2". While all good things come to an end, and BW has most definatly been a great thing and SC2 wouldn't exist if BW wasn't around, this is like moving from Horse drawn carriage to a Model T. Yes both have flaws, but obviously in the long run, the Model T will prove more effective and produce other great stepping stones than the horse drawn carriage. Hell, I played SC in 1999 when i was 6 years old, cannon carrier on BGH, and it put me into the eSports world, but the skys the limit with SC2. So many foreign tournaments, a definite Korean scene, and an NA/Euro Scene with "foreigners" being able to compete against Koreans. You could never see that in Brood War, as there was not enough interest among other areas. While i will get flamed, bashed, hated upon and screamed at, I for one am glad to see the BW era coming to an end, and while I will be on the recieveing end when SC2 ends (i realize it will too) then I will be deeply saddened and what have you, but for the benefit others, it will be worth it.
