Yeah uh hi, there is a solution. You're running a program in the background that interferes with blizzards fullscreen windowed mode. Turn off any non-essential programs before starting up SC2 and watch as the problem disappears!

Sorry to hear that, maybe its a little bit different. It looks like the bug comes from full window mode and i get this problem alt tabbing from other running programs or browser in or outside the game, as guess best route is to turn off all other programs as suggested above or run on regular fullscreen

This happens to me on occasion using Fullscreen Windowed. The fix is to simply pause the game as soon as it happens, f10->options and hit apply/accept (don't have to change any options). This should re-confine the cursor to your client.

I use a double monitor set-up for streaming.
I use full screen windowed
I use 1920x1080 on both monitors.
And I have never had my mouse cursor escape a single time, not once.
Though, I never use TAB in-game, I use the windows button to escape the sc2 screen to write in my stream chat, but that's about it.

I get this occasionally. I just go options->apply and it re-runs the code the confine the mouse cursor. I don't alt-tab during the game so it's no problem once I've fixed it (and I notice in the first minute).

I also get this occasionaly. I think it happens when I alt tab to the second screen while a game (1v1) loads.

To fix this, I just push the Windows key, and click on the starcraft screen again. Fast and easy.

PS : I play on windowed-full screen.

I still get this problem sometimes. To those still experiencing it the only way I've found to make it bearable is with a screen restriction program. I used Display Fusion anyway so I have toolbars on both my monitors, but it also has a bunch of neat tools such as screen restrictions that you can set up with basically any hotkey you like.

Any Windows experts know if there is a command line key that might work for this? Like, under shortcut where it says command line, have it as [ "C:\Program Files\Starcraft II\Starcraft II.exe" -confinemouse ] kind of thing?
