Im a terran player and I suck vs toss, but I totally agree with the other people quoting you. Parting had incredible spread and sick templar control. He deserved to win that game. Further, if no storms would ever hit, the bioball with their insane DPS would crush the standing army of Parting. Toss needs splash compensate.
Ofcourse, taldarim favors protoss more than terran, but that doesent make it imba.

Lol Protoss 2 base allins are stronger against Zerg than against Terran so you know.

Just let him switch and realize that the grass isnt as green as he thinks when the same shit keeps happening and he keeps losing.
But why blame yourself when you can blame others right?

Lol are u serious? It was completely MKP's fault for walking straight through 3 storms, and thus he deserved to lose the lead. If he dodged those storms or avoided them he would have most likely won the game tho

Are you aware that storm aren't nukes ? You don't walk into storms, those things are instant.
And similarly, you can't really dodge storm. Premptive split and get out of them and avoid at best (and really, at best) half the damage.

You can dodge them. I hate youtube linking but:
If a templar with energy is walking towards your army you can back off, similar to dodgeing and baiting forcefields.
And after the storm gets dropped you can run outside of it after 1 tick or so.
Noone is saying to preemptively dodge all of the storm but wasting energy and minimizing damage are possible and necessary
Edit: and you may not walk into a storm but you do walk into a high energy templar clumped up which is pretty much the same thing
To all the people saying that Terran is balanced at the higher levels and it doesn't matter that lower league players are having troubles:
A) Fuck you. We want to have fun as well.
B) It does matter. You do realize that this game will die out if the vast majority of people cannot play a race to become good enough as the pros? After the current pros go, there will be no more Terrans since they will never get the chance to learn the race at the lower levels to move up onto the higher levels. It really does matter, and everyone, including those who don't play terran should be concerned as well. If I saw a race like Protoss or Zerg begin to disappear I would be troubled.
Foreign Terrans went 3-15 in MLG Pool+Championship bracket, with a 33% TvP (5-10), 27% TvZ (5-13), and 11% TvT (1-8 -- all againt Koreans). I don't know about you, but I feel inspired.

bw wasn't easy still people play it. or wait for the expansion or try mech. and 1-1-1 or 2-2-2 is still a super high winrate strategy or the easiest solution get better.
i mean if your win rate is crap in one match up the strategy you use doesn't matter right? experiment

The sad thing is that people (and blizzard) will think Terran is fine because MarineKing/Heart/Ganzi win a lot.

But we're playing against people of equal skill to us, right? Why is it fair that they have a huge advantage in late game play and we're forced to do stupid all ins?

Yeah because this is completely logical and in no way hyperbole? I know PLENTY of terrans who enjoy themselves in diamond/masters/GM. Just because YOU cant do something, doesnt mean that everyone cannot.
Dude if the way for you to have fun in this game is to win, then get fucking better. Terran win-rates go up and up as you get to higher and higher levels. Clearly its not easy, but no race is no matter what want to think.
To say that all the terrans are going to disappear is funny, hyperbolic, illogical, and not worth anymore response than this.
Imo the problem is not that terran is too hard at low leve, but that protoss is too easy at low level. At high level sure, terran can evade storm, use its ghosts better, split marine and marauders. But what about protoss at low level ? with easy cast bullshit, no reaver, a click colossus and gateway.

early game and mid game comes still before, lategame. as long as those issues are fixed (there are still design issues in each race 4 sure), and no glaring balancing issues arise in highlevel play in lategame, nothing is going to change.

since mirror is the worst how can you even complain about it?
2 terrans in the top 4, and 1 in the top 2 dont see how the nationality of the players is so interesting

My point is that foreign Terrans never get anywhere in major tournaments (and really outside of 2 notable examples from a year ago never have). That ties into this thread (originally asking why there are so few Terrans on ladder) since a lot of players take inspiration and pride from the successful foreign members of their race (see, for example, the way in which Idra shaped just about every foreign Zerg's strategy and sense of identity for well over a year). Terrans don't really have that.
In the past others have taken this trend as evidence that Terran can only compete if you have MKP level unit control. But that's not something I care to get into personally.
Lol MKP is literally the "anti" this thread. He defies all of this "logic" we are hearing in here, he is right now sitting as either 1st or 2nd in MLG for sure...
See what is really being said in this thread is, foriegn terrans just aren't as good as korean terrans. Foreigner zergs/protoss can play with Koreans of all races, yet the terrans can't so terran is underpowered... Last time I checked, the only notable SC1 BW terran was Idra, barely vs koreans. So how about this, you stop trying to balance the game for bad players, and balance for the top like we should do.
I don't view late game as a problem for Terrans, but rather a failure in the design of the 3 races as a whole. Terran is good early-mid game, exploit that. Protoss is good late-game, exploit that as well.
Essentially: Tier 1 units of Protoss should be buffed, and/or tier 3 nerfed. Tier 1 units of Terran should be nerfed, and/or tier 3 nerfed.
Where did all of the terrans go? They are all in code S by like 2-1 over others. Seriously I belive it's hardest to play but once you do perfect it it's real strong. All the leaques you quote are not even close to playing perfect,
Whole game needs to be rewritten but I think expansion will be awesome on many levels and do it.
