I'm going to be a nitpicky jerk and point out that Hawaii is not part of North America.
Overall it sounds interesting though, kind of a cool way to regular ladder players involved in some tournaments.

Like the NHL, NBA, and other leagues with the name National but happen to span USA and Canada, we're sticking with this baby. Please bring your inquiries in regards to confusions to those leagues first =p
And while Hawaii is not part of Continental North America, it is part of the nation of the United States of America, so we will allow this. In any case, the NSL will only span Canada and USA for the time being. Further continental North America may be explored once we establish ourselves more.
