You don't want to have 28 teams in the playoffs, that's way too much. Maybe to start, take the top 2 from each division, seed them 1-4 east / 1-4 west based on points. Play bo5s for two rounds, bo7 for the championship. As for the points, do not use .5 as your scale, that will get way too confusing. Keep it simple and just do a point per game, no bonuses for winning the match. If you wanted to do an all-kill format, then maybe you can start throwing bonuses in there for streaks & all-kills. Still keep track of the games for / games again and matches for / matches again records, for tie breaking purposes. This part is probably more for the future of the league: It would be cool if people would really commit to this; you can have each team play within their division twice (home/away), and every other team outside of their division once. In that format, it would be 38 matches per team. Play two matches a week if possible, and then determine your playoffs from there.

Like Richard said earlier, this is just our first season and is much of a 'test season' than anything, but we will definitely reconsider the point system.

But seriously, I'm pretty excited. The first scrim we had was way fun, it's great to feel like a team. Is there like, an official pre-season or is it just going to be random matches we as teams set up before the regular season begins?

NY has so many good players, I totally forgot about Dhalism, he's so good ![]()

We now have the National Starleague that covers play in North America, The North American Star Leauge that has international play, and the Global Star League which is based in Korea. X| the ultimate champion of North America I'm going to be a nitpicky jerk and point out that Hawaii is not part of North America. Overall it sounds interesting though, kind of a cool way to regular ladder players involved in some tournaments.
