Arid Plateau: Hated it, then realized it was 2-player. That's a hard natural, but also a long rush distance, which mitigates that a bit. Beyond that.....this is actually really good! Easy third, fourth...even the fifth isn't two hard, so it naturally lends itself to a macro game. Nice and open, too. Entombed Valley: ROCKS. But, actually, these rocks are used a lot better than I'm used to. You can take the third, and then kill the rocks while the hatch is morphing. In vertical and cross positions, there's an easy progression of bases. Horizontal positions I'm less fond of, but it's not terrible. On the whole, these two maps are actually much, much better than what I've come to expect from Blizzard. It seems like they're getting better at this. Kind of sucks that the TL Open map won't be in this season, but I guess the next one's only in like March. | ||
