Every week it seems like more and more happens within the Starcraft world. Our Community News section is moving faster by the day, making it harder to keep up to date.
With the volume of things we have, it isn't feasable to news every item. A lot of teams changed their lineup recently, however, and it makes sense to note them somewhere, so I'm going to try something new and wrap up the last week or so here.
First things first: StarTale Changes Logo. Again. People seem to hate this one as well.
Team Shuffles
FXOpen e-Sports is sad to announce the departure of FXOtgun. Good luck brad, you're an amazing person!! We wish the best for you!
Guys starting today I joined Team Azk in the philippines wish me and support!
CheckSix Gaming is pleased to announce the signing of Juan "MajOr" Lopez, a former member of Sixjax and ROOT; he has recently been practicing in Korea alongside TeamSCVLife. His accomplishments are well-known, including a first place finish at the BlizzCon Latin America Invitational and an impressive open bracket run that landed him in pool play at MLG Columbus earlier this year. We at CheckSix believe that we can provide the atmosphere of teamwork and community needed to foster such a strong player.
I would like to thank VT Gaming for picking me up 8 months ago as well as inviting me to join their new Professional team Reign. However since joining Reign my goals have changed and we could not come to a contractual agreement reflecting this.
Therefore I am sad to announce I will no longer be playing under the Reign banner. I wish my friends and former teammates Kiwikaki, Slush, Artist, Spades, Gix, and Future a bright "future" and Reign the best of luck in future endeavors.
ReIGN is pleased to announce that Woo “Inori” Min Gyu from FXOpen e-Sports has joined our team roster.
Both ReIGN and FXO have been in discussion since last month to negotiate the transfer of the Protoss player to ReIGN. This week the details of the trade were finally completed and Inori will now begin playing under the ReIGN banner.
Since ToD left Millenium to Fnatic, the balance of Millenium wasn't perfect anymore, Llewellys (manager sc2) was completly satisfied with the team composition he had. So it's Jérémy " Feast" Vansnick who's going to have the heavy task to complete the line-up as the new Protoss a lot of people were waiting for. Althought he is not really known by the scene's observers, Feast has always been a player able to achieve great results in the tournaments he took part of. It has been the case during the " Gamer Assembly" and the " NeXen" (2 french lan events), 2 events that allowed the belgian player to become familliar with the french sc2 scene by finishing at honorable places.
I am very happy to be part of mousesports. It is my first very known team and I hope I can progress and improve with hard practice to show better results in tournaments. I am confident to take this chance. For all who want to follow my progress, I will start my stream within the next weeks. Thank you mousesports and it's sponsors Medion, GeIL, Razer, Intel and Sansibar for this opportunity and shoutout to all my fans at the MyStarcraft community.
This is in addition to already newsed items TT1 and FnaticMSI parting ways and Sleep and Check becoming teamless. If you think anything is missing here feel free to comment and I'll consider adding it.

wow alot of people changed teams atleast my fav players are still there <3 mc&hero

Nice one man! Good job!
But I can't wait to read "Bisu leaves oGs and join IM"

I fixed it for you.
But yeah I like all this activity it really shows how much this game matters.

Hmm... I am a bit curious about this HeroMarine guy... I've never heard of him, but getting signed to Mouz is kind of a big deal.
Here's his liquipedia page for those interested: HeroMarine
It's pretty bare. Guess I'll have to check his stream when that comes up.
This is actually great! Did miss the cryptic messages for all these transfers though TT
Great pick up for ReIGN, Inori is pretty baller. He is actually a coach isn't he? If so, nice to see teams pick up coaches
Thank you for the summary.
If you could go ahead and make a thread like this every weekend, that would be swell.
Thanks in advance, really appreciate it
+ Show Spoiler +Just kidding, of course. But thank you for compiling all this information, heyoka! ♥
This is a great idea, cool stuff!
It's great to see all these transfers were professional and not on bad terms. It happens too much these days.
Nice, thanks a lot for this. Was about to wonder why it takes so long to feature important news like this!

This Week in Starcraft 2

Thanks for the post! Very helpful and informative. I hope to see more of these =)
This is great! I try to keep up but I missed the Fnatic and iS pickups. Thanks for compiling this and I hope this type of thread continues.

Hmm I actually cant recall any transfer being unprofessional or on bad terms.. maybe just the EG, TSL, Puma situation but that one is arguably "on bad terms" and by no means unprofessional.

Looking forward to GosI[Princess], Get.Terran, ESC.520, ROOT.Princess, ROOT.Kitty, ROOT.Britney, sixjax.Terran, sixjax.MajOr, sixjax.Oprah, sixjax.Memory, sixjax.Major, sixjaxMajor, x6winDy to be a regular here. No but, seriously. Good iniative!
There's also a page on Liquipedia called Player transfers that documents all, well, player transfers. (And that page, incidentally, always welcomes new and old additions and sources! Join today!)
You might need a 2nd one of these just for Major, anyways, this is just another amazing idea for TL!
not long until the everyone to EG announcement :D
Lots of big changes.... hoping MajOr doesnt stay on x6 too long.
This was awesomly simple and useful.

Zenio left oGs didn't happen too long ago =/
Hmm, busy week, haha, good write up!
nice resume of team changes :D
tgun left FXO? Wow, they're becoming more Korean reliant...
Having spent the past few months following the HoN community makes you appreciate the SC2 community so much. It seems whenever there's a roster change in HoN a drama shitstorm that will cover anyone even remotely involved in feces.
With SC2 however everything seems to always be dealt with professionally and with much respect. Even with the most controversial transfers there seems to be little more than thanks and well wishes. The difference is remarkable!
Cool idea for a thread, its hard to keep track of all the player transaction news sometimes. Especially with the less well-known teams and players
haha there were a lot of minor moves this week... thanks i only caught like 3 of them
Seems normal considering contracts end, at the end of the year.. Also..that logo....no..it's wrong...it doesn't kill e-sports, it butchers it then pulverizes what's left into thin dust.
no, heromarine and mouz. no. just no. no. not for long. no.
Hmm, I can't help but think RGN actively pursued Inori, Mostly because the "transfer" makes it look like they were going to pay off whatevers remaining on inori, and then some.
Virus Gaming ( previous team of satiini, naama and elfi ) doesn't exist anymore !

Why is that?

This is pretty cool, I've never seen this before.

This is really good too, we should probably pimp it more.

this thread is a winner. Been mega busy past week and a half.
Wow one of most useful threads on TL
Seems like FXO is finally completely devoid of homegrown talents. Good job.
LOL, i like this ST logo a little better. hope they didn't print too many of those sesame street failures.

So many team shuffles this week! :O
Nothing too major, nice to see nonetheless.
thanks for the thread, gj ^_^
That wiki is a great history lesson. I completely forgot about half of those shuffles from last year!

I'm learning about so many things in this thread :O
I hope we get to see sickness in big tournaments soon, I love his playstyle.
to me this just makes things even more real, in the sense that this is truly a sport now, look how many players are switching teams, and now rosters are getting shuffled, its a great time to be an SC2 fan!
i would like to know the status of FXO's international team. They have lost/transferred quite the number of players. Their current roster is relatively weak with the exception of qxc. I hope they get some powerhouse foreigners to their international team otherwise id just expect an announcement of their international team disbanding
thanks for this overview
Well this is incredibly neat! Thanks a lot! Seems like I totally missed HeroMarine signing with Mousesports.
The new ST logo is shit just like the old one. Also I'm amazed at the people who bother to keep track of all the changes in team rosters in sc2, because they are happening daily.

http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Virus_Gaming
the wages for the players were not paid out for a few months it seems -> all players but MoMaN left the team -> without players there is no team
Thank you so much for this, makes it easier to keep track of everything!
Heh, It's really cool to see your own writing in a featured thread on TL. All these changes are pretty exciting though.
Thanks for this, hopefully I can start just checking weekly updates like this instead of noticing new SC2 general threads to find out what's going on.

Nice pickup for ReIGN but can't believe Major has gone to checksix really.
For those of you who may not know, HeRoMaRiNe is a 14 year old German guy who played in a couple of GSS.
Here he lost to MorroW in round 1: Brackets of GSS Pro #2
Here he lost to Major 0:2 in round 1: Brackets of GSS Pro #3
This thread is awesome thank you so much for making this!!!
Every day I'm roster shuffling...
FXO kinda falling apart a bit, sad to see. Hope they get back to old strength soon - don't want them to become a KR only team.

thanks for the summary. it gets hard to follow all of this stuff.
I wonder what the circumstances were surrounding Major's team change. Any drama?
Great idea thanks for the summary
nice article this makes it much easier to follow :D
Nice article, although it would be nice to see Sleep get picked up.
for those of u who are heyoka fans u can follow him on twitter @RealHeyoka
There is going to be another one regarding a korean team! Hype Not a currently notable big name korean though T_T
I'm really interested in what Major can bring to CheckSix. I was kind of wondering if he'd ever be a candidate to join TSL, but it seems that I suppose there is either a little Korean elitism there, (which isn't bad), or his skill is just not up to par yet.
I like these "Roster Shuffles" weekly threads. Keeps me up to date ty heyoka.

Great summary. I hope HeroMarine does well. Wonder what Perfect is going to do.
I <3 this format. Please do it from now on if there are at least 3 or more player moves over the course of 7 days.
