"Mouz Trap!" Episode 4 - mouzThorZaIN and TvX focus!
mouz|ThorZaIN will be co-casting AND analysing during the games!
With episode 3 behind us, and mouz|biGs providing us with some amazing ZvX knowledge, it's time to move on to the last race we are yet to cover! mouz.TV is proud to announce that the man, the myth, the legend - mouz|ThorZaIN will be taking to the stage to provide our viewers with a fantastic look in to the mind of a lethal Spoon-Killer!
Taking replays from all three match-ups, mr ThorZaIN will be commentating along side mouz|Kaelaris as we walk down Terran lane, glimpsing at strategical knowledge through the magnifying glass!
We'll be going live on Monday 31th Oct - 7pm Central European Time onward.
If you want to leave questions in this thread to ask ThorZaIN about TvP, TvT and TvZ along the course of the show then please feel free! I can't guarantee i'll ask every question but good ones will certainly be sourced and used if time permits!
What is "Mouz Trap!"?
+ Show Spoiler +mouz Trap is a weekly show, which focuses on a different player each time. That player will be invited to co-cast current replays of him taken from ladder, cups or events with our caster Kaelaris. Additionally, the invitee will be analyzing his games as well as giving insights into his thoughts during those games. Three replays for each matchup will be covered and casted. Inbetween games, viewers will have the opportunity to ask questions whether live in the streamchat or in the news comments. Our guest for episode four will be no one other than our own Swedish superstar Terran player Marcus "ThorZaIN" Ekllöf. Episode 1 - MMM - Mousesports, MaNa and MorroW! Episode 2 - Observing with HasuObs!Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 (TwitchTV decided to split the VOD up, not our fault! - Apparently everything broke but part 2  ) Episode 3 - The Little Things with mouz|biGs!

Though Mouz has plenty of great players, I feel like Thorzain is the one with the biggest understanding of the game, so should definitely be interesting.

I'd love to know what triggers Thorzain uses to know when to push, when to sit-back and when to harass. Sometimes playing the match-up itself feels ok, but it seems what differentiates good players from excellent TvZers is knowing when to push and how fast and when to not.

Sounds awesome. I would love to know whether thorzain feels that his spoon style is actually the best way to play in general or just fits him? Basically ask him why he plays as he does.

I think that MorroW's knowledge of the TvZ/ZvT match-up surpasses anybody outside of Korea just because he plays both sides of it. Whenever I watch him playing TvZ I feel his play doesn't have crazy micro like SeleCT or Happy, but instead he hits the meanest timings or strategies that barracks are placed right outside of where a scout would spot it. Question: I'm curious as to what ThorZaIN thinks about the TvT metagame post patch 1.4 and whether or not he has been focusing more on mech or bio since the Blue Flame nerf.
Question: Also I'd be interested in hearing as to whether or not he has done any pure mech TvZ such as Mvp vs NesTea at Blizzcon 2011 (Antiga Shipyard). Personally I really like that style but I rarely see it at the highest level. I'd be interested as to hearing what my favorite player has to say about it :D

Question: in TvZ, does terran needs to be agressive to win? Do you think timing attacks, harassment and fake pushes are required to beat zerg? Should terran try to end the game before 4 bases, or can you be be succesful in TvZ using a passive macro style?

Why does that even matter? They don't really mean anything other than the general ideas that Blizzard might use. Like you could maybe say that Terran units are pointing more towards mech in TvP, but even then, we cannot really say that. The game will be so different by the time of release or even the beta's release that somebody's thoughts of the alpha of the game seem very insignificant.

Hey there 10or10
To a certain degree it being only audio form would devalue the content I think, so right now we have no plans to release the episodes in audio form, as we constantly use the on-screen scenarios as reference for the chat topic.

to add to what kael is saying - there will (should) be VODs available so you can catch the show at later.
@thorzain; with a lot of zergs complaining that ghosts' snipe is OP, do you think that perhaps they (zergs) are simply not making use of transfuse in late game situations? Also do you think the EMP radius nerf will affect TvP much? And do you think this actually affects TvZ more because the casters (infestor and queen - if transfuse was used more) are larger?
(snipe deals 45 damage with 25 energy: 1.8d/e - transfuse heals 125hp for 50 energy: 2.5h/e)

We decided after many requests to release the replay pack of the games from this "Mouz Trap!". They're also in broadcast order so I guess people could technically watch them in order with running commentary from Tz :D

You could use http://ge.tt/ if you want. Without a free account, the file stays there for 30 days and with one, it stays there for 90 days. Upload, copy the link and post. There's a small instructional video if you have any questions, but it's pretty straightforward.

That's odd. I keep getting the same error still and the first time I tried several hours after he had posted it. Maybe it's something on my end then.

I think megaupload is blocking the file from users in certain countries for some reason or mistake, it's weird because I can dl certain files from there fine and then on certain occasion some files will always have that message. Do you mind uploading it to http://drop.sc/ ? Its the least hassle free with no signup replay upload site I know? Just tested the megaupload link a day later and the same problem
It's Thorzain replays which is why I really want them so badly, Please! :p
