i really dont like te replicant, not because of imbalance or anything, just because it makes protoss not unique in a way, copying others is kinda meh, i mean in a TVP matchup i want to face a protoss, not tanks

Replicant sounds really stupid.

It looks like it has to be in melee range to clone a unit. It either must have a LOT of HP or... I can't see how people will use it.

Well, the Viper is cool, but it's going to be overpowered and nerfed to shit. Moved burrow banelings will also be pretty overpowered.

The death field thing for terran looks pretty bad. It will be super annoyingly strong versus zerg when you're turtling (essentially kills ling backstabs).

I'm so mad about the protoss changes. I beleive I heard that dustin browder said he thinks the corrupter was messed up, so they give it a weird ability that isn't that great and give the protoss a whole bunch of awesome air units? Also, giving nexus mass recall seems way OP. Protoss shouldn't get a free get out of jail free card, its going to make their timing attacks stupidly strong. Also, the ability to steal any unit (indefinitely) is bad. Protoss will never have a weakness.

I feel like Blizzard is trolling Zerg by giving Zerg a Lurker-esque unit but with barely any of the effectiveness of a Lurker...

Were did you get that? From what I understood from the panel they use a certain amount of energy to turn another unit into a detector permanently. That means a single Viper can turn several units into detectors over time.

I really want the replicant to change the appearance of your newly acquired units, they should gain some kind of protoss armor so they look part of the protoss army, this would make a lot more sense then plainly copying another unit.

i think people are forgetting the positional wars some of the new units will add to the game. this is what day 9 was talking about in a few of his dailies and what many people wanted. now that we get it ppl are saying its OP?

just atleast wait untill the beta before you whine a unit is imba because it might turn out that the unit is completly useless and actually needs buffing because of strats that might counter it.

In the HotS trailer you can see a few actually clone Siege Tanks in siege mode out of range. Therefore, I do not think it is all that bad in range. That being said, the price is pretty high.
