If you need to defend by putting PFs in your nat, might as well sack it. Terran will be infinitely far behind if just the threat of counterattacks forces 550/150.

Your main and natural dont have a Planatary Fortress. If you counterattack an expansion a couple banelings can do the dmg you need though honestly most counterattacks are into the main where PFs dont exist.

![]() Don't understand why I'd want to build a Tempest ever, save for some kind of super late game mass air transition. Don't get what the point of Replicants is, at all. I can understand they make tech-switching faster with a good economy, but do Protoss really need a new Robo unit just for this purpose? Besides, the problem with Protoss tech switches was always their cost. Can't see how these help. And the Oracle, can't justify the cost with what it currently does. Denying a mineral patch for 45 seconds is 60 minerals lost in an optimal situation. Even if it costs 25 energy, isn't it better to just build a Phoenix and kill a worker for 50 energy, which not only denies mining, but also forces the other player to rebuild the worker for an additional 50 minerals? The ability to see what they're making is a bit useless, in a developed game just seeing something researching is enough to know what it is (one exception I can think of is Terran players researching medivac energy to fake Cloak). The building disabling can probably be good in some circumstances, but they're very narrow. You need a 150 gas Stargate, and then 200 more gas to get this thing out. It really need to do way more for anyone to build it in a real game. Recall for 75 Nexus energy is disgustingly game-breaking, and will probably not even make it to closed Beta. It's probably game-breaking for 200 energy too. Bleh. If this is what they came up after watching competitive SC2 develop for a year, then I'm just going to look for a different game.

we asked for goliaths, we got war hounds we asked for firebats, we got battle hellions we asked for lukers, we got swarm hosts we asked for defilers, we got vipers we asked for more viable carriers and motehrships, and they were removed and replaced with gimmicky air casters. ...lame.

Kind of like ravens. Terran units seem almost like a nerf lol. When I think of transformer helions I think of landed vikings. They essentially decided to make helions into firebats when transformed which I think is kind cool since I liked firebats.

According to this here: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=277868 "- Ocular Parasite...I need to investigate more to determine if your opponent knows which unit you have cast it on (you cast it on a friendly unit causing it to detect cloaked units). You get viper at lair tech right now - my initial impression is that it would nullify cloaked banshees but that's just theory crafting." So, nothing's changed to before? Well, changelings are probably gone.
