I have this theory that it rolls up into a ball and crushes things by rolling over them it also has thing a cannon like hole on it's carapace also I still think it could be a spidermine like unit

Roaches also have little tusk looking objects, granted not quite as big but it's not as far fetched as you're trying to make it sound. Also the HUGEASS carapace on it's back. If you're going by previous units where the hell on the hydra is that thing? Where are the 3rd and 4th appendages that are on this new unit? So quite obviously it looks more like a roach than a hydra. To put it as you did "stop trying".

Looks like a marauder with a gun for a head and a bigger roach with a hydra head. Lame. The protoss unit looks pretty lame too. Seems to be some sort of rodent creature. + Show Spoiler + xD

I don't think it's an AA unit (because Hydralisks are very powerfull and do this job well).I think the real problem for Zerg is dealing massive dommage quickly or controling some aera of the map (without using zergling mobility -> something close to a lurker for example). In that way and with the shape of the unit we can make 2 guesses : - An evolved Roach with a sort of cannon on is back -> Lack of mobility but very powerfull in long range ? - An evolved Hydralisk with a kind of "banneling" on his back who can shoot explosive dammage (splash) ? Related to the tech-tree, an evolution of the Hydralisk seems more possible because hydra seems to be under-use actually -> blizzard should try to fix that by a possibility of evolving Hydralisk on something a little different and/or usefull in another way. Well, to conclude, we'll certainly have an answer during the Blizzcon in two weeks. Wait & see.
