But i get that its ranged. Maybe its a seige/caster? Like it can spray something to corrupt buildings? IDK. Maybe it can spew creep? from a distance? Or make a bridge over cliffs or open spaces so that zergs can rush from unexpected directions? That'd add a new dimension to zerg gameplay. | ||

Not sure why there is so much resistance for Zerg to have a ground siege unit in this thread. It's not as if it's going to be a replica of the siege tank. | ||

The unit itself is probably going to be some sort of revamp of the lurker in that it'll be a more gas intensive unit that has a ranged attack that can attack while burrowed. Hopefully it'll be a very supply dense unit that costs a lot per point of supply but is much more powerful in comparison to units like roaches hydras or lings per point of supply. I don't think it will be the lurker with a new model as it since Blizzard stated they already think that banelings fill the lurker's old role. | ||

![]() Biovore being, roughly, biological artillery. The 40k version shoots out biological mines, they explode if they hit. If they don't they wait to explode, denying part of the table. Would be pretty cool if it was fairly close to that, or even only moderately like it. Or we could be going about it all wrong, and it might be a roach evolution with a hellion-ish attack. | ||

![]() I think this is a roach hydra baby. Basically you need roach and hydra to make sweet love, not like those gay high/dark templars and the roach and hydra make a hydroach baby. HYDROACH! I hope we will get raptorling upgrade for multiplayer (10 extra hp and charge). Always annoyed the hell out of me that terran got academy upgrades for free while adding combat shield and then zerg got nothing except a reduced model size. | ||
