That sick nerd baller blinks his stalkers by clicking on them in the control group pane and blinking them back EZPZ. While macroing at his home base.
40 APM all game to 700? No sweat, so he cares a lot about blink micro, why you gotta be hatin on him?
Yeah. You should all realize this was probably just HuK having some fun on his fake account, sipping coffee the entire game, and only getting serious in that very last battle. In all seriousness, I'm actually curious to how you can make a hack like this. After all, you need a script that somehow finds the specific stalker being damaged, click b, click on a specific spot on the map (6 hexes behind or something), click a, and then click on another specific point on the map. All this without taking control from the player. Same story with the unending ff at ramp. You need to somehow target the sentries, click f and target the ramp in an interval, all while not interrupting the player. I have no idea how you would even go about creating something like that =|
I'm not a programmer, but the game has to know when your stalker is weak to be able to display to you that it is, so I don't know why it would be difficult to write a program to read the game's memory and blink a stalker back 180 degrees (or a variable amount of degrees) when it hits a certain threshold of health.

it seemed pretty obvious to me that he was map hacking too. running away from stimmed terran armies that werent in sight yet and what not

He was obviously clicking on the stalker portraits when their shields were gone and then using the minimap to blink, watching your base was just to show how pro he was. ^^
Blizzard ought to add a feature where it auto reports a game if the APM exceeds a certain amount.

There are two possible conclusions that dont include hacking. 1. Shared control and someone else was blinking or helping him blink. 2. His was clicking the stalker portraits and clicking the minimap to blink back.
edit: Just ideas, though it is unlikely.

Blizzard ought to add a feature where it auto reports a game if the APM exceeds a certain amount. If they do that, it becomes a trivial matter for scripts such as these to then artificially limit themselves to evade it. It's like the old anti-camping servers in FPS games. If someone wants to camp, but they get booted if they camp for 30 seconds straight, they then just camp for 25 seconds.

If only I could micro as well as a hack. Looks like a hack.

Looks like the roach burrow micro hack someone posted a while ago.

OMG I know exactly what you are talking about, i play on a FreeFrag Server, and its infested with hackers i thought about reporting them all, but i doubt it would matter. THIS, must not happen to SCII, if it does i'll be depressed . Seriously he wasn't even looking at his army the entire time.

Report him to Blizzard. Thats the only productive thing you can do.
Posting this just gives the hack more promotion. People who do this are kinda pathetic but whatever

Then, ofc, comes the "I told u so."
Its right there in the first post, but here is again http://drop.sc/41077

I have'nt seen the vids/replays but they could be just binding "click, B" to a mouse button:
1. "click, B" button on a stalker 2. "click, B" button on the ground 3. Stalker blinks, 2nd B does not register because blink is in cooldown. 4. Repeat as fast as possible
?
Don't have a macro mouse but that's how id do it.

There are 3 Stalkers throughout that battle where the Stalkers Blink to the high ground and are automatically A-moving back to the battle. Sweet SC2 cheats bro

Commenting on a thread without watching the supplied replay/video on your second post... tsk tsk.
Just report him and know that he has a good couple months to keep cheating while blizzard waits to "ban in waves"

its deffinitely a hack, hes not looking at his stalkers, hes not selecting the ones that blink, he has 30 apm all game except the fight where its at 700, all the stalkers blink at the perfect timing when their shields hit zero, theres no shared control because u and ur team mate were on his team and you didnt help him do it
and with all the health bars it would be impossible for anyone to perfectly blink each individual stalker like that.
report him imo.
|
even with shared control you dont see any of his teammates selecting the stalkers. there would be the teammates color underneath the stalkers. there were none at all. definitely a cheat.
|
Watching the video, it is definitely a hack since there are multiple instances of near simultaneous blink across different ends of the concave and one of them is to a low ground and other to a high ground.
Also, the script he is using seems to have a blink logic check for when the shield go-to zero. Every single blink occurs when the stalker first time takes hull damage and below 0 shields, it seems to blink on CD.
