Terran having a unit for every situation while the other races dont to the same extent didnt seem right to blizzard... Probably a hellion marauder that can tansform into a siege tank with thor-like anti-air. | ||

Now to discuss the transformed hellion! It has the flame thrower visible on its back which would make me think that it is useable for attack. It might have some guns or something in its hands as it is hard to tell. It is bipedal, which will likely mean a slow moving speed. Taking notes from the viking we can assume that it would retain its armor type during both modes. I believe they are adding units with some kind of a purpose. So, what purpose could they have for making the transforming hellion? This is where it gets tricky because we cannot assume that it is only to fill a purpose in the current game, as the transforming hellion could be made to help deal with a new unit being introduced in HotS. We can assume that it is not to overlap with the hellions harass purpose, or its area damage against light units. Right now it seems as mech has a very hard time against protoss. They need something more meaty and with more single target dps than the siege tank. Any anti air capabilities would overlap with the thor or viking (although assuming they might not be changed/removed is too much). | ||
