Yes. Because hover vehicles are totally realistic.
And how is the Thor's animation not jerky? If it's feet weren't so big, it looks like the thing would fall over under a stiff breeze.

It becomes a lot more obvious what this is if you add some googly eyes + Show Spoiler +

Well i think its pretty obvious that this unit has the wheels of a Hellion. And it has a Ground-Viking type of look. So using common sense, it's some sort of unit that will be able to transform as well, because why the hell would you have 4 wheels in those specific positions if you didnt use them to drive around?
So Hellion wheels + capability to transform
Is it a merge of Hellion with something? Or just a Hellion rework? Or perhaps as some people mentioned (but i dont really see happening) something not Flame related...
But i really cant wait to see this! Also for those of you complaining "Oh why would they give Terran a new unit???" You do know that they'll eventually show the Zerg and Protoss units too right?

If it is not a flamethrower then I do not see why it would need a spark light in front. I see your point but at this point it's pure speculation. Being that it's just a silhouette we have no idea if it is a "spark light" or something to mix a chemical to create a mist of some sort. I concede that logically it seems like it might be something fiery in nature but when you factor in the hint from the Blizzard mod, "chill", it indicates: yes, cold, got it. At any rate, we'll find out eventually but speculation is always fun. Well i kinda figured he was using the hints in a ''Haha we trolled you Zergs again'' kind of way .
I have a really hard time thinking it would be a freezebot, i mean that would just be.. awkward.

The Hellion transforms into a secondary battle suit for a Marine.
A Marine is "wearing" the Hellion.
You combine the two units to form a new unit.

MrJack? And yeah I hope so. I'm not sure I like the art direction change they did to Zerg in SC2. In alpha you can still see buildings were yellowish like in BW. Well that's not what I care too much about. But the overall feel of Zerg changed from cool/evil (sharp, spiky) to slimy and disgusting (and insectlike). I liked the more demonish feeling of Zerg from SC1, in SC2 they feel like bugs. If you look at pictures, they rounded a lot of cool sharp edges in units such as the spiky head of the Hydralisk. Idk I think it just looked way better in the beta (perhaps not the coloring but the look).

LOL I hope to god they have googly eyes ingame, I would actually play HotS then and only ever make that unit in every single game I played for the rest of eternity.
Hope they scrap whatever crap it will be and just put the vult back in the game >.<

LOL genius of blizzard!

They probably gonna remove the hellion and add this unit, with a melee shielded form that can tank damage from banelings and colossi and shit, and a fast vehicle form that can harass and slow down units with liquid nitro. Slap a gas cost to it and you've got another army control element for bio and a more costly harass than the hellions for some risk/reward balancing. Of course, I'm pulling all that out of my ass, but hey, it sounds plausible.

As much as I hate walking mech, I'd LOVE to see the marauder gone. I'd make that trade in a heartbeat.

And how are those reminiscent of a Vulture? At least the Diamondback was wide enough to be plausible for how hover-tech works.

Godly, just godly. Had me in stitches. Very well played, sir.

I realllly hope it's a goliath type unit. Tvp and tvt are meant to be played as Mech.

Hey, we have helicopters in space, I'm just saying hovering looks cooler and less goofey than walking mechs (unless they nail the animation to be jerky, which they haven't yet).

mech medic( repair )

i say it is reaper with flamethrower instead of gun - I call it.
btw i wonder why Bliz is throwing a shadow of new unit to community...i guess they try to hype up sc2 before d3 comes out so d3 would have much more impact.

I seriously think this looks sortof a trasformer-y hellion. The cannon on top seems to be a flamethrower, what with the small thingamayig under the barrel(like the lighter on a flamethrower) The wheels on the boots makes me think it has somekind of Viking-esque mode switch.
Perhaps a factory unit that replaces Hellions?
