They better add kickass units to zerg as well! Give zerg the lurker. Give protoss the reaver. Everyone happy.
If you wanna play broodwar with the SC2 engine play this: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=145316
I may just be speaking for myself, cuz I play that BW mod, that I want SC2 and broodwar to be different

The more I think about it, the more crappy it gets. I'm thinking because it's igniter looks nothing like that of the hellion.... it could be a complete new unit and we are looking at the "transformation," but don't know what original unti is.
Is the Collossi getting removed?
Seems like to me, with the release of new units and old units being discarded.... I't's going to completely change the way the game is played.

Better quality.

Clearly mechanical. Clearly has flamethrower.
Honestly i think it's just a souped up firebat.

They want to nerf it to match the HT(which I assume means its range being cut to 2), but the only toss unit they've said they want to rework is the immortal. We know absolutely nothing about HotS other than that this thing will be in it, and reapers are being un-nerfed.

They show a silhouette of a Zerg and Protoss unit during the next two weeks until at Blizzcon the new multiplayer units will be completely unveiled.

looks like ground vikings get an air attack

Could be a reworked reaper gone mechanical-factory unit.

Looks like some new bio unit

It's a firebat on wheels with AA capabilities. Did that stupid Zerg seriously think he could send mutas to clear up your harass? Fry them too!

It seems pretty obvious that, with the fight going to a frozen planet, hellions would require chains to roll in the snow. Since they lost such a technology during the campaign on Char, they had to refit it into a walking mech unit. But now that speed is not an issue, they also decided to throw in dual combat shields.
The unit is designed to protect the Thor from smaller units that are hard to kill with 250mm cannons, and that can endanger the precious SVCs servicing it on the battlefield. When told to hold position, its armor increases by 2, and it blocks a wider area.

Hopefully it does something other than just shoot single targets for X damage like the marauder/immortal/roach. Such awful and boring unit designs.

Also regarding the "Terran needs units taken away, not added," I'm pretty sure all races are getting new units and units removed, so relax.
You over thought it. It simply meant the order of reveal is going to be the same as the order of the SP expansions. Terran>Zerg>Protoss.

Looks like a combined Thor-Landed Viking

This might just end up as a single player only unit.

Looks like a tech-marine from w40k - like a medic for mech. The flamethrower could be a welder? seems redundant with scvs though...
Ok second guess, it's a firebat with auto-flamethrower, which leaves his arms free to carry two shields? (that's what it looks like!).

We had to suffer through "all-Mech-all-the-time" in SC1, and I'm tired of it. It's time for something new, and "something new" doesn't mean "the same crap we've been playing for 12 years." I want Terrans to have to build something that doesn't come out of the Goddamned Factory. Getting rid of the Goliath was one of the best moves they made in SC2, and I'd hate to see them declare surrender and just basically turn Terrans into "people who build Factory stuff". Again.
And "people who build barracks stuff" is superior because...?
It's a question of diversity, not superiority. I don't mind that Mech exists. But it should not be the only viable form of Terran play. Bio in TvT is dead, and Marines are little more than high-damage meat shields for Siege Tanks in TvZ. If you give Terrans a Factory unit that is massable, can tank damage, and has powerful GtA attacks, then you can basically kiss the Barracks goodbye in every matchup.

It seems like the concept of this unit is: Hellion in car form - fast harass unit, worker killer Hellion in robot form - slower unit that takes damage with his shields, good against melee units in large battles

I honestly hope they haven't changed the game to much with Hots, the meta game has evolved enough atm to have half decent pro games and it took 2 years ( there were patches but only like 3 units were revamped heavily ). New units getting introduced it multiplayer makes me wonder how much the meta game will shift, if its something around the line of revamped helion to make mech stronger and early game vs zerg lil weaker then it won't be THAT bad but if its a medic then god help us all since everything we did in PvT and ZvT in the last 2 years up to the 10 min mark will have to change completely.
