Are you serious?
You think they are gonna sell a new expansion for 50 bucks and ONLY remove units from multiplayer?
Add to zerg and toss and remove from terran? You really think that is a good idea?
They will ofc remove some units ut definetely add some new units.
What kind of a crappy expansion would it be: hey, pay 50 bucks to get LESS units and NO new units.

Shield unit imo, put it in front of your army and it deflects the shots.
You heard it here first!

Lets say it's only an upgrade that you get from a tech lab on a factory. This means you can at the early game you can still do your reactor hellion build to harass the mineral line of the zerg to force lings or the building of a roach warren. If zerg doesn't go roaches and stays on lings, you can upgrade this hellion instead of siege tank. This hellion is slower, but when transformed, it will act as a firebat. This could stop zerg from going the style of mass ling +1 ownage of the terran army when they make that usual push shown here: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=261176I'm sure everyone knows Stephano and his mass ling style vs terran. Maybe blizzard is making hellions as they were intended? To counter lings, nomatter what, forcing zerg to build more than just 1 unit, roaches are only an extra 25minerals and 25 gas and are more larva efficient anyways. Zergs should be thinking of roaches in the mix if they see factory tech anyway right? Maybe I'm just talkin out my ass, what do you guys reccon? I raccoon that it is pointless to talk about the implications of a unit that you have no idea what it actually is.
Oh yea, completely agree that I went way too deep into a silhouette But in my mind we should be able to make some pretty educated guesses about some basic stuff about the unit like which building it's gonna be built at. Like it's obviously not gonna be build from a new tech building. It will most likely be factory/rax tech. And well....other people think it looks like a transformed hellion. So i was spitballing I don't think with blizzards track record of trying to make SC2 unique to broodwar, that they will implement a firebat. But it kinda looks like they are :S hope not.

It would be interesting if it's some kind of change to the hellion to make Mech work. You Trade your hellions speed (by transforming) for a bunch of armor (shields) and it still has splash dmg. Keep the chargelots and ling/bane off your tanks.

Solution: Remove the Reaper and give the Hellion a walk mode. I guess increased firepower and decreased speed, but it's probably more complicated than that.
They better add kickass units to zerg as well!
Give zerg the lurker.
Give protoss the reaver.
Everyone happy.

I really hope it's not some sort of unit with the purpose of tanking. We saw how the Immortal turned out when it was designed that way.

lol.....Why does blizzard have to reveal a Terran unit for a Zerg exp. Even when they know how the community feels about terran. Im down for all 3 races new units but show us a zerg or protoss unit first...

clearly any wheel shape automatically makes it a hellion wheel. /sarcasm

Hey, I have a better way to make mech work. Give tanks insane damage and balance the other variables.
EDIT: and none of this wheeled BS. We want hover mech. I don't care what you call it or what it does, just lose the stupid wheels and silly sound effects of the hellion.

Protoss unit and Zerg unit revealed on 10th/17th October respectively I believe (may be the other way round). I want a bloody reaver >:|

Holy crap, the more I look at it, the more I actually think it's a transformable Hellion...

Looking forward to 300+ pages of empty conjecture.

Here ya go.

Not sure what's up with the Terran hate simply because Blizzard decided to show a Terran silhouette first, but a blue posted a comment on the blizz forums about revealing units in order of the SP campaign (and gave a "hint hint") so perhaps (if I'm not reading too much into it) you'll start by playing Terran and switch to Zerg. I don't have a link atm, but it's pretty easy to go on thier forums and look for the comment blue made.
Also regarding the "Terran needs units taken away, not added," I'm pretty sure all races are getting new units and units removed, so relax.

Until you see 100 supply worth of marines die instantly to the dozen lurkers a zerg in SC2 could make easily off of two hatches, or scarabs not do anything to a roach ball because there isn't any room between units for the shot to maneuver.
If any units from BW come back, they will not be anywhere near the same. SC2 is a different game, and it wouldn't do us or Blizzard any good to just bring back units from BW that were already cut during SC2's development.
