Ive decided twitter is this massive drama creation machine and Im glad I dont have an account. How did these people do this before twitter, over the phone is my guess and it created less drama before it 'went to press.' Making a huge assumption that the ZeNEX Coach was okay with it here.
Where was I making any assumptions his coach was ok with it? Did you read what I wrote or did you just make assumptions of what I might have meant but didn't actually write?

If you weren't making that assumption, how could you say '..wouldnt know about a trade his coach is doing..'? No coach would make a trade without being OK with it.

I love seeing people trying to justify the NASL situation for NASL's side of things by pointing to this one and saying, "See? Koreans just suck at communication! Clearly they can't do this shit properly!"
Talk about cheap shots when they're completely unrelated -_-;;

At least under KeSPA you knew what the rules of conduct were for EVERYTHING. Sure people felt they were overly strict, but there was order.
SC2 is too chaotic right now. SC2 may need KeSPA after all.

There are rules of conduct; they are called contracts.
|
The Korean teams need to write some fucking contracts and be more wary when they do things like this, it seems like every trade is followed by some massive drama from at least one of the parties.

Yeah, lets limit the rights of Korean players even more, so that the teams can continue to pay them barely no money for all the hard work they do. Again, players are no slaves, they should not be owned by teams.
I really agree with this. If players want to sign contracts fine, maybe then they can actually get paid. But if they are not under contract they have no obligation to pass up a better offer.

I hope and want to believe that this was all done in good faith. CoCa is going to get much better and we're all going to benefit.

Same, I think sooner or later a governing body like KeSPA is going to be mandantory, just to stop all of drama / senseless player trading / stealing / and unofficial stuff...

Is that when GOM's exclusive SC2 tournament license in Korea expires?

Not to hate on ZeNex, but I think CoCa's potential will be more readily unveiled with his practice at SlayerS. Boxer seems to have a knack for training champions.

Stop crying SC2 community. Fighting is good, its just words and feelings.
Big kids don't cry when their competitors are mad at them!
They love it....
SC2, and business, is WAR..... especially in Korea. The money is getting bigger, so are the ego's, they're going to fight for the gold ring.
Best thing ever!

If the player wants to go somewhere, how could the coach really stop him? He's not a piece of furniture he could lock in the basement. Coca wasn't even living in the team house and probably didn't have much of a financial connection to Zenex.
Coca tells the coach I want to leave, the coach can let him walk or try to make the best of the situation. Regardless of what the coach wants.
Look at Huk leaving TL. Clearly TL didn't want him leaving, but they couldn't stop him; so they worked something out and wished him the best.

Eeeh... wait what? Who needs EGs version when we can figure all out ourselves?
2. EG buys Huk. 1. EG moves into undisclosed training facility in Seoul, Korea.
Meanwhile:
1. Slayers buys CoCa. 2. Slayers tastes the wrath and fury of the TL community.
Put two and two together and EGs buying Slayers!
